After years of being a loyal client at Oasis Car Wash in Santa Monica, I had a disappointing experience. That's when I stumbled upon Speedway and Filipe. Filipe is a friendly, professional, and punctual individual. He keeps me informed about my appointments with timely reminders and confirmations the day before. He's also very thorough in his cleaning and detailing of my cars. He spent just the right amount of time on washing, detailing, and drying both of my cars, which took just under 2.5 hours in total. Filipe stands out for his transparent pricing. Before he even met me or saw my cars, he was upfront about the cost. When I inquired about the cost, I only gave him a general description of my cars, like "Porsche Macan electric" and "Mercedes SUV," to avoid any potential price gouging due to the luxury vehicles and trims. Unlike some businesses that try to upsell services and overcharge clients, Filipe's pricing was honest, reasonable, and transparent from start to finish. The quote I received before meeting him was the price I paid after he finished washing both cars. It was a job well done. Let's compare the prices. With a 20% tip, the all-in price to wash the same cars Filipe washes would cost me $198 at Oasis ($65 Macan, $100 G wagon). Speedway and Filipe come to my home for $195. He washes both at the same time and it saves me from having to drive two cars separately to the car wash. When I paid Filipe, he didn't make me feel like I had to add a tip on top of the price I was quoted for ($195), but I did add a tip on top of the $195 ($35 tip). For me, it is worth paying a little more because it is convenient and Filipe runs his business well. Filipe also cleaned up all the water at the end to leave my space as tidy and clean as possible. For me, the convenience of having a mobile detailing and wash with someone who is reliable, honest, professional, and kind is worth every penny. I look forward to giving my business to Filipe for the foreseeable future! read more

They do a great job no doubt about that. My wheels were sparkling. I'd just say it's quite cheaper than your regular place for the service they provide. That said, if you care about your car's paint, it's worth it. read more

I don't write Yelp reviews often, but Felipe JUST left 15 minutes ago, and I felt like I should come on here right away to sing his praises, so I feel like that is saying something! I found Speedway via other Yelp reviews, and I was very pleased to find they didn't steer me wrong; Felipe was responsive, made time for me in his schedule the next day, had competitive prices, and did an excellent job with my interior detail. I've never had my car detailed before, and can't believe how much it literally looks brand new. Really grateful for how accommodating he was, and it's so convenient that he comes to you - was in and out in under two hours. Definitely recommend Speedway, I will for sure be a return customer when I need another detail! :) read more

Awesome service and great results! I got my call taken after hours and service the very next day. Would absolutely use again.

Just a couple of days ago I was reading reviews about car detailers and came across these posts. Everyone seemed happy with the results so I gave Felipe a try. He came the next day and gave my car a complete aesthetic overhaul! It's the best detail I've experienced so far. My only regret is that I didn't take "before" pictures so everyone could see what a transformation this really is. This is a 2016 Mazda CX5 that has been parked on the street since its birth. Felipe is very professional, arrives on time and enjoys what he does. Thank you Felipe! read more

Speedway and the owner Felipe is as good as they come when it comes to auto detailing. I used to live in the Bay Area and was a regular customer of AJs Auto Detailing. I was looking for a detailing service that provided the same level of quality cleaning and attention to detail. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get a proper detailing as I never found mobile detailing services that could match regular detailing shops. After spending a lot of time on yelp going through reviews, I decided to give Speedway a try. I could not be happier. Not only did I find a detailing shop that matches the best details I've had, but he comes to me! Felipe is simply the nicest guy you could meet and he truly cares about his work. To give you an idea of how much Felipe cares, I called him while the fires were raging and asked him to detail our two cars. He came by and started working, about 3 hours later, he was still working on our cars. Ash was falling on our cars continuously and he simply wasn't happy handing us the keys until they were spotless. Besides doing a great detail job, he has been responsive and very accomodating! He recently came out again on short notice and was very communicative about when he'd arrive and what his status was. To add to everything I mentioned, Speedway's prices are actually incredibly reasonable given the quality of the work. I've now setup regular washing service with Speedway. read more

Felipe is a master at his craft. He's very detailed and careful with all of our cars and always leaves them looking brand new inside and out. The best car wash and detailing service I've ever used. He's always on time and responsive. I don't trust anyone else after meeting Felipe. read more

Felipe worked around our business schedule and come out to do a full detail on two cars. He showed up with everything he needed and spent 2-3 hours on each car. They both look amazing now and one of the cars had dog hair on the inside and swirls in the paint. He did not charge extra for fixing these things even though some detail places do that. The boss was so happy with the job that he is going to have him back every month. read more

I read very positive reviews about Speedway and the owner Felipe and actually saw him driving in Santa Monica so I figured that was a sign to give him a shot. First off he's such a nice guy!! He was honest and direct about his procedures and doesn't try to push any extra or unnecessary vehicle work. I had him detail my Audi S5, wash a Camry and Volvo SUV and they all looked fantastic. He was surprisingly fast as he washed them all himself. I can't recommend Felipe and Speedway enough, great to know he does a lot of work on the Westside and I look forward to future details with him. He does motorcycles as well! Thanks again. read more

Felipe's work is fantastic! He did a great job in detailing my corvette. He is on time, professional, and very well mannered. I'm so happy with his work that I started an every two weeks car wash for all our 3 cars. Hire him---you won't regret it. By the way, this is an unsolicited review. He is legitimately a great person to deal with. read more

Felipe is the absolute best! My car was looking aged, tired and beaten up, and I had a clear bra on the front of my car that was peeling off - it looked awful. Filipe removed the clear bra from the front of my car and fully detailed my car and now it looks like new again! He even cleaned the film off of my headlights, which made my car look refreshed. I highly recommend Felipe's Speedway Mobile Auto Detailing! His prices are reasonable and it's a necessary investment to keep your car looking like new! Thank you Felipe! read more

It is such a pleasure to post my review. After an appt that didn't happen when Felipe already was at my home because of other vehicles that were in the way he left with uncommon courtesy saying not a problem we will make another appointment. We did and the result was a beautiful shinning car. He even gave us some special shampoo. It was such a pleasure to pay for a truly professional job. My car got stolen recently and, thankfully, the police found it about a week later. But the thieves hot boxed the entire week that they decided to "borrow" the car. After looking through Yelp reviews, I decided to go with Speedway for this much needed detailing. They did such an excellent job! The person who washed my car was very detail oriented and hard working. He got the smell out and then told me that we needed to keep the windows open as much as we could. This is because, as the fabric continued to dry, it would release the last bit of smoke smell. He was absolutely right. My car now smells great, and it also looks shiny as new on the outside. Worth every penny that I paid for the detailing! read more

To say Felipe did an amazing job is an understatement! We rescued a puppy and she had an an accident all over our seats and we were unable to get it out. Felipe was so kind and helpful over the phone and was able to come out the same day. Our car looks brand new!! So thankful. read more

My car hadn't been washed in seven and a half months. It was so dirty and the paint was already weathered from improper maintenance. Felipe was friendly, professional, and got my car done in an afternoon. He was able to get the rings out of my black paint and gave me after care advice over text. Total, the job was $350 for full detail inside and out. I'll definitely use his services again. read more

One some days they do a car wash at our work place. I've had many car washes from his service. Always handled very well and with a great attitude. Super friendly guy, and amazingly reasonable price. Felipe and his detailing services are amazing and his honest work ethic goes a long way. I recently and stupidly polished my car with a compound polish totally messing my clear coat on my car. Before calling Speedway, I research tons of solutions and found out that I could do the repair myself and it would be a very time consuming and risky task. I called Felipe only hoping for advice, and that is why he gave me. He did not talk me into his services, but explained to me the issue, gave me different thing I could try but offered to look at my car first and give me some product if it seemed like a task I could manage. After inspecting my car, he gave me several options of a solution, one of doing it myself, second going to a car wash, and third trying his services. I told him money was an determining factor so he cut me a great deal. I decided to go with his services because I knew I would beat the worry and end up with professional results. That is exactly what happen. My car has not looked this beautiful since the day I purchased it. Thank you Felipe! read more
