For that reason and reason alone I've made a pit stop at this location a few times either To gas up, use the restroom facilities or grab a quick drink before entering the casino. Wawa is one of those near-mythical places that has a huge reputation, but I've never lived near one. Located at the corner of Taylorsville Road and Sweeney Lane, Wawa is easy to find. Just look for the brightly lit building with the white canopy and 14, yes, FOURTEEN gas pumps. Since I'd heard that Wawa is known for its coffee, that was the main reason for my visit. What I wasn't expecting was just how much there really is inside. It's one of those "How did they fit all that in this space?" kind of places. One entire wall is dedicated to beverages. Not the canned-and-bottled kind, because that's a different wall. This one is devoted to self-serve coffee, iced coffee, soft drinks, and ICEE®. You can also order what my wife calls "fancy coffee." You know: espresso, lattes, and assorted beverages with significantly more syllables than "coffee." And Wawa certainly isn't limited to drinks. There are plenty of made-to-order foods available, including breakfast sandwiches, lunch and dinner items, and snacks. I noticed a breakfast burrito that is, 100%, on my radar for my next visit. The ordering process goes something like this: Go to one of the ordering kiosks and choose what you want. You can customize your order like nobody's business. Seriously. Who knew there were so many options? You'll get a printed ticket with an order number. Take that ticket to the cashier, where it gets scanned and you pay. Then head back toward the in-store beverage/food counter and wait for that order number, which I just told you to remember, to be called. Happiness ensues. The "other" beverage wall is an entire refrigerated section filled with cans and bottles of soft drinks, juices, energy drinks, and water. If you can't find what you're looking for, do you really need it? There are also several aisles of snacks, along with coolers stocked with Grab & Go foods. Every employee I interacted with was genuinely friendly, and the store was immaculately clean. Granted, it's brand new, so...yeah. But still, everything was well stocked, organized, and running smoothly. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I walked into Wawa. Now that I've visited, I think it's earned a spot in my morning coffee rotation. It's close to home, the service is fast, and I really like the variety of options. Oh...and by the way, they're open 24 hours... And that breakfast burrito and I have unfinished business.

We're awesome and amazing amazing I was locked out of my tractor trailer and had to wait for three hours. Before making the drive, I tried calling the tire center to let them know and see if they could still accommodate me. I sat on hold for over 10 minutes and never got through to anyone. Since I couldn't reach the department, I drove to the store anyway. I'm a disabled customer whose mobility varies from day to day. Depending on the situation, I may use one cane, two canes, a wheelchair, or a motorized scooter. When I arrived, I used one of the store's motorized scooters to get from the entrance to the tire center. After making the trip, I was informed that because I was late, they would not be able to service my vehicle. While I understand that appointments have schedules, it was incredibly frustrating knowing that a simple phone call could have saved me the drive and effort had someone actually answered the phone. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the worst part of the experience. After learning my tire would not be repaired, I attempted to return the motorized scooter near the entrance closest to my vehicle. My car was parked directly across from that entrance, making it the safest and shortest walk for me. An employee stopped me and insisted that I take the scooter all the way around to a different exit that was significantly farther away from my vehicle. I explained multiple times that I am disabled, that I use a cane, and that my car was literally right in front of me. I wasn't shopping, carrying merchandise, or attempting to misuse the scooter. I simply wanted to take the most accessible route back to my vehicle. Despite this, the employee continued arguing with me and repeatedly insisted that I walk the longer distance. What made the interaction even more upsetting was the complete lack of empathy. As someone who is still working hard to regain mobility and independence, being told to walk farther when a closer accessible option was right in front of me felt incredibly dismissive. Several customers nearby appeared just as confused by the interaction as I was. This experience wasn't just inconvenient--it was disheartening. Accessibility isn't just about having scooters available; it's about treating disabled customers with understanding, respect, and common sense. Between the tire center not answering its phones and the way I was treated afterward, I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and unwelcome. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no customer should leave feeling the way I did, especially one who is already navigating physical challenges just to get through their day.
