I've visited this Speedway every few months for years now. (I much prefer to drive south less than…read morea mile on Brandt to the other Speedway, because it's bigger/ more selection and much easier to get into/ out of in terms of traffic.) This Speedway is fine for a quick stop for gas. I rarely have to wait for a pump, and it's well lit so I feel safe at night. The staff seems a little more lax than at my preferred store, as there's usually a few standing around talking when I'm in there. As long as they get me rung up and the shelves aren't empty of my favorite snacks, I guess that's not really a problem though. This store is smaller and has less selection than some of the others in the area, especially with the hot snacks/ drinks. The biggest drawback to this store, as I noted above, is the location. I've waited five minutes before to simply pull out onto Brandt, and that's making a right turn.

I'm pretty picky about my milkshakes, so UDF is the only place I'd get one. You can completely customize it to make it as awesome and unique as you like. I always go for a peanut butter malt. However, I switch up the ice cream at every visit. This time I went with a dark chocolate ice cream that had marshmallows and caramel. Also, I get it with chocolate milk instead of regular. Yes, it was perfectly delicious. My husband got a mint shake made with Oreo ice cream and chocolate milk. Yes, it was awesome. This place wasn't very busy and we were helped right away. Unlocked my accts and gassed up at UDF spending $44.00. Bought 44.00 in gas UDF put $200.00 hold on my PNC acct until they get their $44.00. I was in a panic and ready to strangle my co-worker until PNC explained what was going on. They should not be able to exceed the purchase amt ever. I about had a heart attack when I thought Oh God, here we go, my co-worker is stealing again. Called my bank, thank God I did. UDF just lost all my business forever and I will never take a company truck there again! Had I used a credit card I'd understand, but I did not, I used my Debit card giving the UDF store direct access to cash!

Pepper Jack Tornadoes--no physical damage! (Okay, let's not think about that too much. Cheese,…read moreLouise!) I stopped at this location to get a drink and a snack. Speedway has a lot of pseudo-deli items now, along with all the roller food you could ever want. I decided to try a pepper jack tornado and since they were 2 for $2.22, I got two of them. As a snack, they're not bad. 85 grams and 220 calories, heavy on the bad stuff, of course. What, no salad on a stick? The line at the register was long and someone ahead of me was buying a bunch of stuff. She wanted to pay for the stuff with the Speedway cash cards she was buying, which led to a lot of confusion but she didn't explain anything ahead of time. Sure, I'd like to pay for cards with the cards! I'd be a millionaire, if I just had the million! Anyway, the cashier handled it really well and we all survived. She even took care of my transaction smoothly, including the coupon for a free drink and my 1000 point coupon from the transaction, which she added back to my card. Slick!
