We've stopped in a handful of times when in the cultural area (my old neighborhood) and found it to be very lovely..great atmosphere, good coffee and pastry, nice vibe, good prices, great service, decent location.. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the attentive service, the friendly dog that hangs out (it belongs to the owners, I believe), and terrific pour over coffee. Now that Flint Foster is closed and Good Beans operates on only limited boutique hours (ugh), we'll make Dorothy's more a local hangout..

The staff has always been kind and helpful whenever I've visited, and they have a huge selection of drinks to choose from. Some of my favorites so far have been the Icy Thai, Purple Oreo, Matcha drinks, Fruit Teas, and their Milk Teas. I especially appreciate that their Milk Teas are dairy-free, which is a big plus for me. I did try one of the Milkaholic drinks (the Cloudy Ube), and since those contain dairy, the dairy flavor ended up overpowering the drink for my taste. If you like dairy drinks you may enjoy it more, but it wasn't my favorite. I went back because I thought something was wrong with the drink, and the staff was kind enough to make me a different drink to replace it! I also tried the Coco Bean Blend, which is made with Vietnamese drip coffee and a coconut slush. The coffee flavor was very strong and bitter for me, and the coconut slush didn't have much flavor and felt more frozen than slushy. One other thing I noticed on my most recent visit is that the fish tank (which is black) seems to have a lot fewer fish than it did when they first opened or during previous visits.
