Gas station had about 8 regular pumps plus 1 diesel pump. Exterior was decent. Gas pump was a bit dated. It could use a face lift. Gas price was on the higher end around $6.00+ per gallon. I usually pump half tank just enough to get home and pump the rest back home, but I ended up filling it up to full. Sometimes we have to bite the bullet for convenience. Very quick visit. Pumped, paid, and took off. Didn't go inside the food mart. Just one observation, the food mart had gates behind it doors and windows. Not sure what it means. I'm not in the Azusa area often if at all unless necessary. Hopefully, neighborhood is safe.

They also have lots of samples, and the store is always clean and nicely organized. I come here about every two weeks and always enjoy shopping here. The gas prices are good too! My only complaint is that the gas station area feels a little too small and doesn't have enough pumps compared to other Costco locations I've been to, like Monterey Park and City of Industry. It can get pretty crowded, especially during busy times. Other than that, I love this Costco!!

But I am still appreciative of this location, since it's convenient sometimes, in that it's on the way, either to work, or to home. (This is located right across from Costco.) For a station that is right in front of Costco Gas, though, you'd think the prices should be more competitive, but I often find it consistently higher than my pump of choice nowadays. So I am often baffled by that. Recently, all the credit card readers at the pumps have been upgraded to new models, presumably with better technology. But that wasn't the case. First my credit card "got stuck", and I had to fiddle with it to get it back out. Next, it didn't read my card at all. It's just stuck at "Reading card..." for the longest time, then after maybe 2-3 minutes, it informed me to pay inside with the cashier. It was raining slightly that day, so I was already a bit frustrated, and I just decided to leave all together. I don't usually like to interact with any cashier. I returned to the farther branch where I prefer to do my business usually. In the end, this is the sole reason why I gave this spot 2 stars, because I actually specifically came here since it made sense, I was nearby, despite the higher gas prices. I was willing to pay more for convenience... But then it won't even take my card! Haha! If it doesn't want my money, fine with me? Heh. I was simply trying to get a refill on my propane but she made it very difficult and uncomfortable for me. I was initially helped by a friendly clerk but it became very apparent she kept micromanaging him. The pump wasn't even working so she had me exchange tanks instead, which was fine. However, she suddenly decided that my tank was old and that I can only buy a new one. It was even accompanied with an incredibly infuriating "You're gonna hate me but..." I have exchanged and refilled tanks hundreds of times and never heard about this rule. I pay full price for a new tank. When I simply tried to make space in my car by moving the old tank, she immediately started yelling at me that I cannot exchange tanks. Now I'm second guessing that she might have tricked me into buying a new tank just so she can get promoted or something.
