By-monthly I go to Hawthorne car wash to get my vehicles the "vip" service. Worth every penny. They take their time. They get it done, right. Yes you'll be waiting for a little bit but what do you expect for a full service wash. Highly recommend and I don't recommend many car wash establishments. read more

They are ok, but not the best. I pay $25 and ask for tire shine and they said it was included. I finish the cleaning when I got home. Is the only car wash in Hawthorne and I try to support local businesses but not if they do this kind of work. read more

I got my car washed for $22 today. Came home to find that my trunk wasn't vacuumed, which was a mess...and my hub caps on my car were filthy! I called to speak to the owner Robert who wasn't in, I spoke to Carlos who told me to come back. I wasn't about to drive all the way back, I live far from Hawthorne. I'm sorry I didn't check the car when I was there. I had a funny feeling when I was there it was going to be a sloppy job... I should have trusted my instincts. DON'T Go to this car wash!! they obviously don't care!!!!! $22 is expensive to have a crappy job done on a car wash! STAY AWAY!!!!! This place is the worst!!!!! read more

I could not recommend this car wash enough. The customer service here is incredible. I have been using this car wash for a few years. Today, after I self-vacuumed my car, I accidentally locked my keys in. I went inside to let them know I was going to call my insurance for roadside assistance and a very kind employee told me I could call my insurance if I preferred, but that he has a tool to unlock my vehicle. I gratefully took him up on the offer. He used professional tools to open my vehicle in 5 minutes (because I guess people probably get locked out of their cars a lot). I very gratefully tried to tip him a $20 when I was in the car, and he kindly refused multiple times. He was truly just helping a customer. We use the monthly automatic car wash where I sit inside and drive through. It is very affordable. Two employees pre-scrub the car before it goes through the car wash. On the other end two employees quickly dry any residual water droplets. I then choose to self-vacuum, but there is a full-service option as well. If you are looking for a car wash, go here. read more

They can't pay me enough to go back to this scam. This car wash deserves negative stars, not only did they not clean my whole car exterior, they also scratched up my entire side panel door and window. They merely spray some water around the car so you can't notice until its fully dry when you get home. If you like paying to get your car sprayed w some water and scratched up, this is the place for you read more

I've tried many car wash companies in the area and have found this one to be the best. Others are more expensive and their service was not as good. I've used this service many times and have never been disappointed. read more

I have only had great experiences at this car wash. They let me use the vacuums without getting a wash done too! Very courteous!

Good drive thru car wash. Gets the surface grime off. Guys do a nice job drying and a free vacuum is nice. Bette than hours on your own. But not as good as a detail. Solid choice and better than the one in Ridgewood read more

It's a shame that nowadays $28 (I have an SUV) gets you not much more than a high school booster club car wash. Too many areas of dirt untouched even when they are right there staring at you. Too bad I tipped them as I surely got taken today. read more

Recently the management has changed (the other guys weren't so bad) and wow, these guys really wanna make you a happy customer. The prices have been lowered and the quality and value of the service increased for sure. And, FREE self-vacuum. Just flip the switch...Very friendly and courteous workers. read more

THE BEST CARWASH I have ever been to. They do a wonderful job and they are without question the most professional car wash I have ever been to. They take care of my car as if it is their own. I really appreciate their great service and very modest prices. USE THEM!!!! read more

It's ok. Got a generic wash (outside only). Left with some stuff still stuck to my windshield. I think the manual part of the wash or hose should have been able to get this off. The manual dry is quick and a bit streaky, but not terrible. It's ok. read more

After going to a car wash on route 17 and argued with the attendant I only wanted a vacuum and wash with the response NO YOU MUST GET IT DETAILED it's to sandy. After leaving with a outside only wash that wasn't very good I went to Hawthorne Car Wash. pulled up to friendly attendants asked for the full service. And WOW! My car looks amazing. On my second visit there they thought it was ok to lift up my water bottles, which I instructed not to touch, and vacuumed up all my quarters under the bottles. Five dollars worth! No tip needed! read more

WARNING ...BEWARE ...They damaged my car on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS!!!!! First, they torn off the side mirror which they tried to claim wasn't their fault. At least under the old management, they eventually had the decency to reimburse me for the damage. I decided to give them a second chance and now they damaged my roof rack, parts of which tore off completely in the washing garage. Under new management led by Robert Kim of Hawthorne Carwash LLC, they refused to take any responsibility. I called the police. Small claims court is my only recourse. Good thing I'm a lawyer. read more

I went 9/22 to get my tahoe washed. 1) The guy that came to the truck-I could not understand a word he said He took my credit card and told me he would bring it back to me. 2) They guys started to soap up my car when the guy came to bring me my credit card (car already soaking wet) i opened the window/he gave to me- but then the machine that moves your wheels made a big thump -- machine broke.......so they hand washed my car. 3) They did a terrible job- i actually got out and borrowed a towel to wipe down the car (parts soaking wet). They walked away! 4) 2 days later-----My Credit Card Had Fraudulent Charge. Never going back. read more

They do a good job but the problem is at the entrance driveway when it rains the water pools in the cracks so when you drive through your car gets dirty from the water I have complained several times but the owner won't spend $100 to patch the holes I'm surprised that I am he only one what has complained aboot it read more

I just went to get my car cleaned. Paid $20 inside and out and tire shine. Terrible job. My rims all had dirt on them they missed a tire with the shine. Windows were left with soap marks. I wish i can give them -5 stars. I get there May 25th around 5ish the place is empty so it looked like a no brainer . Paid 24$ for full service on my chevy avalanche. The truck comes thru and they lock my keys inside . They told me call police and they unlocked it after 15 min of him prying my door open and scratching my truck. Not 1 I'm sorry from any employees. The truck looked like it wasn't even washed. The Windows were dirty they barely vacuumed. I have 2 scratches that will always remind me to stay away from this horribly ran business . Oh also while the truck was locked they were going to push down the hill for another car behind me to come thru. I wouldn't let them near it . Stay clear from this place. The policeman said this happens all the time here . Again not 1 apology read more

I have been going here for years. Today I decided to get the $24 car wash. Long story short, they did a terrible job and even got dirt on my white leather interior. Not only did they "clean my car" they cleaned out my change compartment in my car, only taking the quarters and leaving pennies. I will not be returning to this car wash ever again, and I highly recommend that everyone stays away from this place. Go to urban auto spa or wash your car at home. read more

This place does not do a good job. My car was still dirty in some areas and they didn't even attempt to dry the roof of my car. Worst of any, they pinched about $3 in quarters from my cup holder. What were they thinking? I shoulda called the cops. Instead I choose to just never go back. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I got my SUV detailed and I have to say.... my car looked brand new from top to bottom. My car got really dirty after all the rain, snow, average use, and my dog shedding like the little furry butthole that he is. I didn't expect my car to look as pristine as it did. They really got into the corners of my car and did a great job. It cost over $100 for my SUV, but it was worth it. I definitely got more than what I paid for in my opinion. read more

This car wash sucks!!! So angry !!! I choose the $24 option and the inside of the car is still dirty. Wheels are dirty and they didnt even touch the interior on the car. The carpets looked washed and that's about it. The outside is descent but not worth the money. Do not wash your car here go somewhere else for your money's worth. Very poor job. read more

I just paid for a "deluxe". Full service wash $18.00 and left a tip to a job I could have done better! Horrible my wheels are still dirty! Do not go. My car was not clean at all. Never wiped either of my doors and had spray all over. To top it off my glove compartment was open so I looked. Registration for car gone. I quadruple checked everywhere. Had it in there recently. Went back. The woman there said no manager is there. She acted like she had no clue what I was saying and just shuffled papers. Nothing. I had to go there because their phone doesn't even work. Try calling. Any problem whatsoever and they will play dumb. Never again!!!!! read more

I went today, spent $26.00? For the top car wash there.. I then left, made a stop and noticed spots 7 of them. 3 on the hood and on driver door. I went back and the guy said nothing he could do to take it off , it's tree sap. I told him other car washes remove it. He tried rubbing it with a spray bottle of water and it was coming off. He stopped trying to get it off, He told me to go home and get alcohol and put a little on a rag and it will come off. When I came in to the car wash I told the guy my.inside back window has a film , hard to see out of it , please clean it good , after I left there, I made a stop at a store and when I drove thru a sunny area I noticed all my windows were smeared streaky and my side mirrors had spot of dried water on them, my front window inside at the bottom by the dashboard never was washed. I am very disappointed. I went back this morning to have them rewash all my Windows and they are closed. According to looking their schedule up They are supposed to be open . I pulled into their driveway at 9 o'clock am And there is a sign saying " SORRY CLOSED". This is the worst car wash I ever got. My car for 26.00 Was the highest price they had So I got it hoping my car will look beautiful And it's worse than before I brought it in i've tried calling six times with no answer I want to speak to the manager or the owner. Poor customer service and poor read more

Speeders - Car Wash Near Me - Hawthorne, New Jersey

This place is horrible. I have gone back three times for some reason and they continue to do a horrible job. To leave the car with streaks because they rush to dry it completely. They do not vacuum the interior as well as I would like and ignore the insides of the doors completely. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this car wash. Try the one on Belmont ave, much better. read more

To echo what others have said, the service here is not good. It should be simple, meet pleasantly, what type of service, receipt and thank you for your business while you go and wait for your car. Car goes through and gets cleaned. Employees make you feel they don't even want you there, car comes out still dirty on the inside and there never is anyone there to talk to about it. Go for the exterior only and you'll save yourself some time and headache. I have tried to give it numerous chances to see if maybe it was just a bad day, but they have been consistently consistent with less then great service. Sorry for the bad news, better luck next time..... read more

This place is Horrible. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. My wife took our car there for a car wash this weekend and ended up driving out the other side with a flat tire. Its amazing how quick a $25 car wash can turn into a $275 headache. I tried contacting the manager on multiple occasions with no response. I then learned that the manager had no interest in speaking to me since he said it wasn't his problem. I highly recommend not using this place. there are many car washes in the area- go to a different one. read more
