The best, especially in a crunch. Deborah & Staff are #1. They are serious about what they do. And Do they DO ! R. Hager, Itasca.

After going back to work the next day, I went back to the hospital within an hour 25 June 2026. I was informed that I was misdiagnosed. The attending PA merely stated, "oops!". I was told that it was slipped discs and not a pulled muscle in my back. I was immediately discharged. Walked to my car in the pouring rain in my socks. Despite returning to work with restrictions, I was put back to regular duty. My back was then done, and so was I. I was placed on leave effective 29 June 2026. I contacted Ankin. Over a week later, I was emailed that Brien was assigned to me. Literally, the same morning, I had my first appointment at Parkview Orthopedic. Most commonly used by Ankin. Everything in one place. You would think it was convenience. It's just the opposite. I arrived late. An hour ride sitting in the car wasn't pleasant. I reached the 3rd floor office, and was immediately greeted by the most unprofessional, rude individual I've ever met. I left. I made my way back to my car. I was immediately contacted by the office manager of Parkview. She quite literally begged me to return to the office, in that to give them a second chance. She commented that they are used by Ankin A LOT, in that she didn't want negative feedback to reach them. They also text you to leave feedback. That immediately stopped following this incident. So that I couldn't leave any feedback. Now, I was over 90-min late, and the doctor had to rush through all the appointments to still be able to see me. After a 5-min consult, he determined that he wasn't the doctor for me. That he isn't a "back doctor". So, I was given a referral. Two men came into the room, in that with a shopping bag, like you'd get from Walmart, filled with back patches, and a ton of other medications that I didn't need. I also received two, large boxes at my apartment. A shoulder sling and other. After a group of kids attempted to steal the boxes, after being left outside after 10pm. A neighbor returning home stopped them. Nothing inside had anything to do with my condition either. I since continue to receive endless calls, and text, from One Call and another company. Also attempting to deliver more boxes. I repeatedly denied them. To-date, I have literally only spoken to my assigned attorney, Brien, ONCE! That was solely because I informed his assistant that I was going to seek representation elsewhere. Only then did he return my call almost instantly. All you do is literally play phone tag. That is why it took an entire month just to schedule physical therapy. Laying in bed the entire time. Yet, I was repeatedly told that this is entirely my fault. Despite doing all that I'm instructed to do. Because they don't communicate with the case worker from my work, he calls me to get the appointments. Most recently, Friday, 14 August 2026, I received an email response from Ashley. She responded with a single sentence, to call back to discuss alternatives to my growing list of concerns. These offices have a bigger concern than just communication issues. They do nothing but outsource cases they predetermine they wont win. I requested a call from anyone over Brien to call me back... nothing. The way this business is operated, you'd think Ankin himself was Ai. Update: 10:48am - Monday, 17 August 2026 I was just contacted by Ashley. I was attempted to follow-up from her return email, and VM, from this past Friday. From her tone, she seemed to get flustered. She quickly began to become upset, so much she stated that she felt threatened by me. By my mentioning that I was in the process to leave a negative comment Yelp and other platforms. After I clarified that the call was being recorded, I made it quite clear that her so-called services, and those of her employer, have been terminated by me. At 11:00am, I received a call from Brien, in that he was put to VM. "I understand you had some issues with professionalism of our office". (Quote/unquote) Six weeks laying here in constant pain. With only patches to put on my back, when able to, that don't work. Besides pain pills prescribed on 21 June 2026, and the shots that didn't work to my back on 21 July 2026, no pain management at all.

I reached out to Aaron when I discovered that my tenants were conducting potentially illegal and…read moredangerous activities in the basement. This somehow seemed to personally offend him. I have worked in the legal field for over a decade and I have never encountered a more rude, sneering and condescending individual. Our first phone conversation was seemingly OK and then it went downhill from there. Afterwards nearly every question I asked was met with disdain. At times he seemed to be on the verge of giving himself an ulcer. He would constantly interrupt and attempt to browbeat. At no point did I feel like this was a lawyer who would have my best interests at heart. My personal favorite moment of our short-lived relationship is when he dramatically sighed and said "Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to do some work for you." I assume no one forced him to be a lawyer. Eventually he decided that we should serve the tenants a termination of lease. He misspelled "dangerous" on the notice. You would think for a 3K retainer he would avoid such sloppy mistakes. He then decided to change his mind at the last minute and that was the final straw. It was my mistake to put up with Aaron's bad behavior but as I was in a time crunch I felt that I had limited options. From the many positives reviews (I assume most of them are real), Aaron does know how to behave like an adult and treat people in a professional and courteous manner. However, if you are one of the people that Aaron decides to show his true and lowly nature to, hang up immediately as this burst hemorrhoid is not worth one second of your time. The only good thing I can say about him is that he gave the retainer back. But I did have to email him for the final installment. Additionally, if you are a landlord seeking representation - call Abdilla & Associates at 630-839-9195.

There were more positive reviews than negative so I thought I'd give this guy a try. Unfortunately…read morethe negative comments ring true. He answered his phone when calling the main number, seemed cordial for the first minute then as soon as he realized I was a new customer he talked as fast as an auctioneer, letting me know he'd text me an email for more appropriate correspondence, mentioning he gets paid for his time, charging a minimum of $200 for 1/2 hour or less. He didn't pause for a second before hanging up, never hearing the details of my case. So yes, has a rude personality as others have said. He never followed up with the email as he said he would. There's so many lawyers to choose from in Chicago. This guy clearly doesn't want any new business. If he's such a "big deal" why doesn't he have an assistant to answer calls?
