Oh dear. What an uninspiring experience! We arranged a contact lens trial, but, when we turned up for the fitting, were surprised to be told that they needed to order the lenses in first. We felt that we'd had a wasted journey, as they'd had the prescription in advance, ie, long enough to order trial lenses. They promised to call on Mon/Tue the following week, but didn't, so I phoned to ask if the lenses had arrived. We were told that they had and that we could come in for a fitting without making an appointment. However, when we went to the counter, we were told that we needed to make an appointment after all. (Hence, wasted journey no.2). We won't be going back, as it was quite clear to us that they were woefully inefficient and had zero respect for our time.
