I booked an eye test at this branch using a free voucher I found online. I had to wait for a few minutes beyond my appointment time as it was busy during a weekday, however this wasn't a problem. I encountered 5 staff members in total and all were very courteous and friendly. The technicians explained every test to me clearly to ensure I understood what was going on. When my prescription was ready I was sent directly to the floor to choose some frames. I did feel a little pushed into this, as they assumed I would buy the glasses from them. That said, I could have said no - and they have to make their money somehow! The advisor who was supposed to assist me got caught up with another customer. However, while I was browsing 2 other staff members asked if I needed any help, and one of them subsequently guided me through my purchase. While choosing my glasses the assistant was very direct, giving me her honest opinion on the options I tried on. This approach may not suit everyone, depending on how comfortable you are with a stranger telling you what you should be wearing :) When finalising the measurements, tinting, glare-free finish etc, I did feel a little rushed through the process. Staff at this branch were so helpful and courteous. I was taken back by the customer services and feel almost embarrassed that I turned my nose up at this place before I walked in. Very happy that my nose didn't stop me. Prices were very affordable. Joe (supervisor) was amazing and all the other staff echoed their supervisor. read more
