DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. We are visiting from out of town and my fiancé got some stomach bug and had been throwing up for 12 hours. We went to this urgent care in hopes to get some nausea medication for him. First - they require masks (November 2022). This is 100% okay - I'm all for masks, BUT they do not have extras for patients. As mentioned, we were here from out of town, so we didn't bring masks expecting to need medical attention and were just following the general county guidelines. No other urgent care was open and they refused to see us without a mask so we went to the local Rite Aid, spent $10 for a pack of masks, and then went back to be seen. Now that they were willing to see him with a mask, he explained what was going on and that he was hoping to get some medicine to help with his nausea. The secretary told us that they do not do injections (???) AND the "medical provider" would not be able to prescribe him medicine to pick up at a pharmacy. WHAT KIND OF URGENT CARE IS THIS?! Can't prescribe medicine?! I don't even think they have an actual doctor in the office. Should be shut down by the medical board. read more

I've only ever been to Urgent Care once and this was a very positive experience. Everyone was kind and treated me quickly and effectively. I felt so much better after leaving there. read more

Nothing urgent about this care. Went in because I was experiencing strange pain in my ribs. They took x-rays and sent me on my way, telling me I'd receive the results in two to three business days. It's now been six business days and not a word, not even when I left a voicemail asking for the results. My ribs still hurt and I still have no idea why. Can't wait to get the bill. read more

This place has the rudest secretary or person at the front desk you've ever met in your life. If you're ever sick and need help. Do not go here. I made the big mistake of going to this place. The nurse Mary Ann Sayon introduced herself as a doctor which I found was untrue when I looked her up. Dr Seip is also just a front of this office and not available which means that you have to wait up to a week to get your lab results. Something that takes a day other places. I would not recommend going to this place for anything serious. I would go yo the nearby Avalon instead. I was there last time and should have picked that instead. read more

First time to specialty urgent care, which Kaiser now covers. I thought I might have a fractured toe, and my chiropractor suggested I not wait to have it X-rayed. First, they were out to lunch so the girl told me to come back later. I explained my situation and she said they haven't had x-ray machines for months so to call Kaiser as to where to go. I am pretty surprised a facility such as this would not have such equipment. So I ended up at Eisenhower. I was glad not to have to go to Avalon urgent care, but I'll reserve my thoughts until I actually meet the dr at Specialty. read more

To be fair, the nurses were nice and professional. The Phaeacian's assistant was horrible. We brought our son in cause he was feeling I'll. She wasn't nice to my son, and did not care at all. Please go somewhere else, this place isn't worth your time. We had to go to the ER, cause she didn't even try. read more

Appauling experience. Came in with cardiac symptoms. Had checked with Kaiser, my provider, about what I needed to show them and where to go. This was their recommendation. This agency denied service because I could not show a card. Were unwilling to call Kaiser. Refused to serve me in direct violation of their understanding/contract with Kaiser. Have filed an urgent complaint with Kaiser and am working on a complaint to the MRMIB California Insurance Board. Inexcusable. read more

Beware!!! Unless you want to be falsely accused of having covid symptoms do not go here!!!! I was trying to be seen because I have liver issues and needed my enzymes checked and a male nurse/receptionist I don't know who he was tried to say my temp was 102.2 but only checking after I had been sitting out in the heat, he did offer to try again in 10 which we did but he still said it was 102 and stated I need to go to the hospital to be tested. Note they check your temp outside and it was 101 outside. read more

I went to urgent care because I was very sick with a terrible sinus infection and terrible pain from the right side of head and behind my eye that just wouldn't stop. When I came in the whole place was empty to my surprise but I was glade hoping I could be seen right away. I think there has been many insurance changes and maybe that is why it was so empty. Come to find out there has been many new policy changes one being u could not be seen unless you tried and were unsuccessful to be seen by your primary doctor first before coming to them which obviously I did not know that change.So they have u fill out a short form stating just that that tried to be seen by your primary and was not successful so I called my primary and they did not answer and they were almost closing as it was Saturday n they closed their clinic at noon so thankfully for me they did take me in to be seen. They close their facility at 2pm on Saturday. So I filled in my new patient information and the nurse took me back for my vitales blood pressure height n weight then directed me to the room where the doctor would see me. I sat n waited just a couple min and the doctor saw me asked me my symptoms and checked my ears n heart and oxygen thing on finger. She prescribed my medicine n sent it to my pharmacy and I was done to go home n wait to pick up my medicine. So I was very grateful for my experience the doctor was a woman and was very pleasant n treated me well and I was in and out in a very short period. The inside of the office looks lit up with light n clean and so was the waiting room n exam room. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone who needed it. God knows I did that day. read more

I needed to see someone for a UTI. I went at about 9:00 on 3/26/21. They were not busy. The place was nice, clean, and bright. All the staff with whom I dealt were stellar. The P.A. that saw me was very knowledgeable and generous with information. I had asked her about a couple of things that I thought I was going to be able to ask my regular doctor when I went in for a wellness check up the week before. The N.P. that I saw was not of much help at the doctor's office. She could not prescribe or do anything that was not on her list, which I felt was mostly a waste of time. The woman who saw me at the Specialty answered many of my questions and suggested that I see a dermatologist. She also helped me regarding my gut issues and recommended that I take probiotics and a digestive enzyme. The rule of thumb that she gave me was to purchase a probiotic with a lot of strains. I bought them and am feeling better. The antibiotic that she prescribed worked very quickly and the pain was gone in about 24 hours, which is great for a UTI. I would recommend Specialty Urgent Care and plan on going there again. Bravo! read more
