Richard pointed everything out, sent us an affordable quote and we went with it. I cannot say enough kind words about Richard. He is what a real handyman should be not trying to swindle you like most other repair people would do. We were so impressed with his work that my sister and my brother-in-law, (who is extremely picky when it comes to hiring repair men) have hired him for their own repairs.

This initial inspection was free of charge. He was incredibly friendly and personable and helped ease our concerns. Being that we live in the south and had just bought our home, we knew we needed to get a termite treatment program started. He informed us of termite and pest packages and gave us his card and was on his way. Shortly after, we signed up for the termite bait system and pest control annual contract. David came out and set it all up. Again, super friendly and personable. He explained everything he did and how the system works and even informed us of other things to look out for. Overall, the customer service was exceptional!! I highly recommend this company!!! We are in Gulfport, MS.

And that is if I could get them to come out at all - or, return to finish the job. Not so with Larry McHenry. He is a wonderful, skilled professional who doesn't try to pressure me into doing larger jobs than I need or can afford. He is as enthusiastic to undertake a smaller job in my home as a big project. He helped me cover the popcorn ceilings in my home with wooden slats and now my 80's ranch ceilings look like Magnolia House! I sincerely couldn't be happier and his fee structure (by project or hourly) is very reasonable. I keep him on speed dial for if I get in over my head and I am always relieved to see him! He is one of the best people I have had the privilege to hire on the Northshore. I am happy to give him a great reference.

When he was finished, we had paint all over the carpeting, baseboards, windowsills, door frames, and doors. The paint was slopped in gobs on the walls in some places, and had dried in large drops down the walls. Other places were badly streaked, and he'd clearly skipped the second coat of paint in places where he probably thought we wouldn't see it. There were numerous places where we could clearly see the old paint color. And, he told us , right before putting on the last coat, that he was increasing the cost, over his written estimate, by nearly 14%. My husband and I have been scrubbing the carpeting, and had to purchase some sandpaper and paintbrushes, to fix the mess he made of the room. Now my husband, with his bad back, is painting, which is exactly what we paid all that money to avoid!!!
