I recently used a chauffeur company in Crosby called 'Specialist Chauffeur Services' (wasn't sure what category to put them in) after many months of hunting around, their name popped up several times and I saw a few adverts on google, I was looking for wedding cars for my daughter. They where offering a full package for just £199, it sounded to good to be true so I called them. I spoke to a guy called John who was ever so friendly, understanding and informative. He confirmed that I could hire an Audi A8 or Mercedes S-class for £199, I was very sceptic at first as you are, similar cars with other firms where almost twice that!. Anyway, after meeting up with John and seeing the cars, I paid a £50 deposit for the 2 cars and a minibus, the total price was just £550. Now I hadn't seen the minibus but I wasn't expecting anything flash for that, the cars where perfect though so I was more than happy with the price. I paid the balance and John called the night before just to put my nerves at ease, which I was very grateful for. The big day came and the sun was shining, I was being picked up in the Mercedes and it was spotless, the car had ribbons and bows on, flowers on the back shelf, water and tissues which came in handy to. There was plenty of room in the back with it being a long wheel based car, so we didn't struggle with the dress. We arrived at the church first so I didn't get to see the other vehicles until after the ceremony. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the minibus, it was a spotless brand new silver ford torneo which was also dressed in bows and ribbons to match the 2 cars, the Audi was faultless to, all the vehicles looked great in the sun and everyone commented on how clean and tidy they where, the chauffeurs where excellent, I couldn't thank them enough. To top it all off, the bride and groom where given champagne to toast their marriage on the way to the reception at Formby Hall, not the cheap stuff though, Moet!. I will admit from the off I was very sceptical about the wedding car hire with it being so reasonably priced, I did expect some corners to be cut but only had a small budget to work with. However the whole experience was faultless, the cars, service and quality where second to none and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding cars in Merseyside.
