Wow! I'm really impressed at the speed and quality of customer service. I was just online yesterday (Wed) looking for a plumber to do work on my shower drain for this coming Saturday. And not only did he say he could come on Saturday he was able to come within 30 min of the time I requested the quote. Another company came out and did a very poor inspection so I called Joseph in a frenzy trying to track down a leak in my condo, especially since I was property managing it remotely. He came out promptly and spent HOURS trying to track down the root cause of the leak from testing out the washer to testing out the fridge. He determined that part of the issue were the pipes and how the icemaker was attached to them, so he fixed the pipe the next morning, even though he was heading out of town that day. Talk about priorities, customer service, and reliability. When my tenant reported that the leak persisted even after the fix, he came right back out and determined that there was a tube within the fridge itself that was disconnected, and made the recommendation to call an appliance company, who I can confirm has been very satisfactory. He also recommended a company to start the water restoration / mold mitigation process who has also been very satisfactory. He called/texted every step of the way to keep me informed, and sent photos and videos since I was doing this on behalf of my tenant remotely. My only thing was that it was hard for me to understand the terminology and issue summary over the phone, especially since I couldn't see what was going on in person. I wasn't sure if it was the pipes or the fridge tubing or a combination of both, and I needed to explain this to my HOA, and of course I wanted to make sure we were only doing work that was necessary. He did text me a summary of the issue so that I could understand everything in laymen's terms, but including a detailed summary on the invoice would have helped. Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend Joseph - he doesn't just do what you've asked him to do but rather he finds the root cause of the problem regardless of how long it takes, and he truly exemplifies customer service. His recommendations are spot-on, because they employ the same work ethic. Joseph answered my call Sunday evening at 8:30PM. He arranged to come out "1st thing" Monday AM. At 7:10 MLK Monday, he text me that he'd be here before 8:00AM. AT 7:30 i looked outside and he was organizing the tools and parts he'd need for our job. He came in and got right to work. He moved the toilet (we have no clean out) and started the snake. He noted that whomever had placed the toilet after doing the tile, failed to ensure that the flange was high enough and that there had been a slow leak under the toilet. He ran the snake with great vigor and at about 95 feet out, hit some roots that were the cause our troubles. He also pointed out that "flushable wipes" aren't really. We ran a lot of water, shower, laundry, sink and he ensured that the sewer was clear. Then he ran out for about 10 minutes to get the part to repair the flange and installed it for a few bucks more. Called in the late afternoon for mail drain issues and Joe came right out within an hour or two (Around 6pm). It was quite a project as it was extremely plugged with "flushable wipes" and he had to make many attempts through toilet and shower. He stayed until 1am to complete the job. He had asked if I wouldnt mind that he come back in the morning (which I had no problem) but I think he is a perfectionist and wanted to complete the task. :) He charged a very reasonable price and I will definitely be calling him again if needed. Bigger, fancier company do not even want climb under houses or gets on the roofs, do to the "liability". They want take all your older plumbing out, no fixing it...just replacing all! Very fast response for a sewage clean out. Had to unearth a shrub and promised to leave the site the way he found it. After replacing the clean out, he demanded the full payment before the backfill. Big mistake(check out the other one star reviews for corroboration). Once paid, he checked out. Stopped responding to repeated texts and calls. One week later, the shrub sits unearthed on my front yard along with the old resected pipe, toilet paper scattered in the mulch, clean out is hastily sawed off with the cap sitting on top. Joseph is a nice guy, but he needs a number of more years of plumbing experience before he can be trusted on his own. He took apart an expensive plumbing fixture, and couldn't put it back together again. He took apart the handle in my other shower to see how it was put together, and changed the hot water settings, which I didn't know how to change back. The clog he fixed clogged again immediately. I had him fix the thermocouple in the water heater, and he put in too long a wire, which burned away, and he had to come back. In general, he took too long. I had to call another plumber (Arroyo Plumbers). They were more experienced, and I trust them completely. One guy from Arroyo was a specialist in the fixture I had. I highly recommend them. But not Joseph, at this point in time. He's not ready to be in business by himself yet. If he's with his more experienced friend, then he could do a good job. He's a hard worker, but he needs to be an apprentice for a lot longer. read more

It's every girl's nightmare to come home from work on a Friday night to find a clogged kitchen sink and the water RISING. wow, just thinking about it is making me break out in a sweat again. I called in a panic and Joseph came the same night, around 11pm and spent a few hours clearing out the blockage. He was calm, respectful, courteous and thorough! I couldn't believe the level of professionalism which he exhibited. He never complained (it was Friday midnight for God sakes) and had a positive demeanor the entire time. he wasn't rushed and he simply explained in detail what he was doing if I asked. He cleared the blockage like a pro. Since he had to use my trash bin as a bucket to empty the dirty water out earlier, he even took the bin around my building to hose it down when he was finished with his job. whoa - that is excellent service right there. I really thought I would have to offer my liver or first born as payment so I was bracing myself when I asked how much it would cost...but to my amazement, his PRICING IS SO FAIR. He is not out to gouge you, he genuinely takes pride in his trade and his work reflects that. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We needed a water heater replaced, which was done in May of 2018. However, Joseph Gaballah charged us for everything including haul away of old water heater. We gladly paid him the full amount as soon as work was done. Unfortunately, he never hauled away the old water heater as he stated he did. We sent him multiple text messages and spoke to him over the phone and he ensured he was going to pick it up all three times as he said he was. Two months later it has not been picked up. Now we have to pay an additional vendor for pick up. I contacted him today and he hung up twice and said he was going to call me back. The company gets the work done but its half-a** if they don't complete what they quote and you pay for. I would go with a different company. I would not recommend this place. I used their service to fix my clogged garbage disposal and leaking washing machine. They managed to replace the garbage disposal, but they could not fix the washing machine. The washing machine was leaking from the bottom, so they unhooked it from the wall and checked the bottom, but they could not figure out what was wrong, so they just hook it back. They didn't charge for the washing machine, which was reasonable. I figured out that fixing the machine machine may cost as much as a new washing machine, so I ended up buying a new one. When I had it delivered and installed by home depot, they found out that the water valve to the washing machine was damaged and leaking. It was not leaking from the water valve before, so they told me that it must have been damaged by the repair person when they unhooked the hose. They tried to fix it for me, but they couldn't, so they recommended to contact the repair person and have it fixed. I send theme messages 3 time requesting them coming back to fix it, but they just ignored my messages. It is not that I was unhappy with their performance while they are at my house, but it is not sincere to ignore their customer's messages and refuse the after care. Now I will have to get another plumber to fix the damage they caused, which would cost me $300 at least. DO NOT call them! read more

It's 11:45p on a Sunday night and Joseph just left our house; problem resolved. Joseph closes at 5p on Sundays. I called three plumbers since Friday when we had a blockage. One was crazy expensive and had limited tools. The second to be fair, was nice but had a family emergency, so he was hard to contact. So I gave Spec Home a try given the ratings. Joseph answered all the calls and all the texts and went all out to fix our problem. The thing that sticks out the most to me was how patient and how calm he was. He spent almost half an hour trying to detangle the snake in his machine and he just did it without so much as a word of frustration. He had to take care of multiple clients so he had to leave in the middle, but given it wasn't a crazy emergency for me, it was cool. It was just impressive to see his professionalism and demeanor at 11:00p at night on our roof all by himself to clear out our main line. His prices are way reasonable, the best of the three plumbers I contacted and he has a one-year warranty for his work. Plumbing is hard work, especially as a one man job. Great service! I had to schedule and reschedule (at tenant's request), Joseph was patient, professional ansd accommodating. He called when he said he would and was on time to the appointment. The drains were cleared and the price was reasonable. On top of that, he is very personable, easy to work with and most of all HONEST.
