After an extensive wait, I asked our server if she could check on our meals. She came back and said they would be out in a couple of minutes. I can only guess that the food had been sitting because it wasn't hot or even warm when it was served. My niece and I ordered the night's special Poutine. I'm hoping I can add a picture to this review. It looked like a bowl on dog food. Our bacon candy was on congealed hunk of greasy bacon. I have ordered this before and it's been wonderful, individual slices of candied deliciousness (not last night). Another person from our party ordered the burger, without the pickles and jam, medium well. It was served medium rare. The cook came out (with an attitude) and took the burger back. She was presented with a new burger cooked properly but with the jam she said when ordering she did not want. The carbonara probably would have been good if it was not cold. Let's get to the drinks, if you like a Margarita with barely a touch of tequila this place is for you. The cook and manager within sight of us made no secret that they were talking about us. The only bright side, our waitress was doing her best under less than good circumstances. She said she hoped our next visit would be better. I told her there was no way we'd come back. Cold food, arrogant chef and manager. I will be sure to spread the word. Do yourself a favor, go right down the street to the smokestack urban BBQ, 139 Green Street.
