I picked it up today and couldn't be happier. It looks practically brand new. What matters most is that they honored my request to leave everything else exactly as it was -- no polishing, nothing altered. For a watch that sat in a drawer for nearly 20 years, I'm going to start wearing it every day. I'm grateful I trusted them with something that means so much to me. Wonderful, friendly service. I'd asked about selling it and they would only give me $400 (hmmm - no brainer). I decided to solder it instead. I'm advising you, the consumer, to shop around on better gold prices if you're selling. Additionally, I was looking to replace the wedding band that my husband lost with a gold and diamond ring. We found one that was nice and similar. The cost was approximately $800. The receipt stated that it was a 14 karat gold and diamond ring. When I home I looked through a loop that I have and the ring was not stamped anywhere. I believe the law mandates all jewelry needs to be marked. I returned the ring to advise that I have no idea what Kt this ring is. The sales woman told me it's right on the receipt, it's 14kt. I stated it may be on the receipt but it's not in the ring. She took the ring to the office where the jeweler was and how ironic he said return the money even though the receipt states "no returns for money only store credit". Just advising, if you do business with this company, please check your product while you are there.

My mother only goes to Spath Jewelers. When I needed my bracelet fixed I went to them, and the lady was very kind and told me it wasn't broken and the clamp only needed to be tightened, she said she would be right back. A few minutes later it's fixed and she even cleaned it for me, she said Merry Christmas and that there was no charge! I'm glad my mom recommended them because the other place I went was going to charge $60. read more

Jewelry Express is located inside the Eagle Ridge Mall, next to the Dillard's (or JCPenney, I forget which). I took in two of their watches and was out in less than fifteen minutes. That's some speedy service! Better yet, though, their batteries are always good quality and last for awhile. I've only seen my parents take in their batteries once a year (and, sometimes, not even that often). There are other places that charge higher prices, and have lower quality batteries (I'm talking about you, Sears.). I paid only $17.00 for both watches. The owners were both there and the girl at the counter was very polite and friendly. I definitely recommend this place for repairs.
