When my Dad, who was 99 years old at the time, wanted to find a new cardiologist, we took him to this office. The doctor and physician's assistant my Dad sees have both given ample time during visits, and the entire office has been quite responsive.

I have been…read morediagnosed with Cancer and this practice has been beyond difficult, and they do not cooperate or comply with my oncologist or radiation Doctors. In the mist of all these series life changes I had a fall, they never put in a referral to a specialist and said it wasn't broken. which it most certainly was, resulting in surgery. They also never submitted any of the documentation I provided needed for my ins company so that I was dropped. all while I was going through Chemo. They are horribly understaffed and beyond rude. I hope anyone who is considering this practice values their health, because they sure do not! "makes a lot of sense for a medical practice?" The Manager is beyond rude and violates Hippa on several levels. when you need to make an appointment the receptionists will actually decide for you if they think its necessary, after at least a 45 min wait. I am currently going through legal action because of the complications they have brought to my health. I write this to bring awareness to those who need proper medical care, but talking with many of their patients who feel as I do. I am quite certain you too will find yourself here shortly.

When they couldn't get my first and last names straight I should have known something was up…read more During a routine physical my Family Doctor thought my EKG showed some damage to my heart so she recommended me to a Cardiologist for a stress test. Ok, so it took over a month to get in to see Dr. Chambers at the Cardiology Institute of Michigan. The building was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. Dr. Chambers NEVER introduced himself to me. And of course they couldn't get my name right. I scheduled a follow-up with my Family Doctor for two weeks later to get the test results. Upon arriving they realized that the results had never been sent so they called about them. First they were told they couldn't find them. Next they found them but they had not been read. And finally the Doctor had NEVER even looked at them. No preliminary glance, nothing! I find this appalling and disturbing! What if I had a problem that needed immediate attention? I had already waited a month to get in and then after two weeks my tests had not even been read!

This is an incredibly important part of of the U of M Hospital System. My nephew has been coming…read morehere for 29 some years. (since he was 5). They are an integral state of the art cardiology center. They are the ones that after 15 years finally determined the rare genetic condition that he has. His Dr was Dr Dick for years but he retired and now we see Dr. Helms. Care quality is exceptional. This is a huge complex that can be overwhelming but the staff here is great! Very competent and professional but make you feel welcome. My nephew has had a cardiac defibrillator since he was 8 and has a pacer too. With the inception of his diagnosis he has been on the appropriate meds now and we are so thankful that his defibrillator hasn't had to function recently due to v-fib. If you can imagine as a child feeling like you're being kicked by a mule in your chest and finding yourself on the floor. We are forever grateful to this top notch place!!

Made an appointment on November 28th, 2023, soonest they could get me in was April 10th, 2024. Fair…read moreenough. 134 days later, they call me at 5:00pm the evening before this appointment to tell me they forgot the doctor wasn't in. Wouldn't give me any details about when I could be rescheduled, and never gave me my $20 copay back.

I am very happy with the care I receive here. The Doctors and Residents are very friendly and…read morethorough. They were awesome in diagnosing me and providing me with relief and decreased pain. The nurses are friendly as well. It is overall a comforting environment. They bring a sense of humor into the atmosphere to help you feel more at ease.
