Then as the months passed I would go in for other aches and pains, Dr Santelli decided to run a blood test. I had 4 other medical Dr's at the time with current blood tests but no one saw anything wrong except for Santelli. My iron was a little high, he spent time thinking about it, even when I wasn't in his office, so he wanted to run a different blood test to get a Ferritin level. Long story short, he saved my life. He discovered that I have Hemochromatosis. A blood disorder that shuts down your organs and "rusts" your joints. He started my treatments and adds a special combination to my Chelation IV Therapy to pull the iron from my blood. The doctors encourage asking questions and honest-to-goodness don't mind being asked questions. I'm not a terribly inquisitive person, but if you're going to hold my neck in your hands and potentially kill me like a bad guy spy in a movie--I want to know that you know what the fruitcakes you're doing. The doctors have different methods of adjusting you. If you don't like one method, they have several other methods that won't make you feel odd. (Example: I don't personally like it when a doctor decides to body slam you on the table to crack your back. Instead I lie face down, and I'm perfectly content.) They use e-stem, a roller table, an adjustment by a doctor, and 22 minute massages (yes, you read that right. Massages.) to keep you happy and healthy. All of this is covered by insurance for me--even the massage. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they seem to have a high turnover rate. I've had three masseuses tell me it was their last day (they were excellent. I really liked them)...and I've only been here for about two months.

I informed him I had neck and shoulder pain and a normal care provider would annotate this in his records and would focus treatment in these areas but he never put any information I gave him into my records. When medical records were requested for my case he denied I was there because of the accident which shot my claim in the foot. I have a busy work schedule and the chiropractor "Dr." Hester said that's fine and to make it in when I can which I did. When I called him for clarification he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He immediately became defensive, argumentative and continuously spoke over me denying any of my claims regarding our initial meeting and reason for my treatment. Hester wouldn't allow me to ask questions, clarify anything or express my position. The entire conversation turned into a shouting match where we just yelled over each other the entire time and accomplished nothing. He seemed pleasant when I was going there but quickly showed his other side once he was called out on his shady behavior. He never prescribed a treatment plan, explained the difference between what I initially went in for and how he ended up treating me. It's clear he took my insurance information so he could receive payment upfront instead of treating me according to a treatment plan necessary for an insurance claim that would result in him getting paid once the claim was settled. He's a shady con artist who disarms you with a smile and a fake caring temperament whose sole motivation is money. I've never been to a chiropractor before and won't be going back to another one ever again. If you have a chiropractor you see and you trust I'd stay there but I would advise against going to this one because he does not have your best interest at heart.
