Great communication with absolutely no work ethic or service to match it. Like other reviews, she will ghost you after. She was at my place for maybe 2 hours or less for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. We made the mistake of PAYING before the work was completed and she LEFT before i came home to see what she did or did not do. SAVE YOUR $ and do not waste your time here. She said she had another cleaning to get to and had a checklist to make sure the work was completed. My photos will show otherwise as proof that Amy needs to look into another career choice as cleaners should be meticulous in their work and not leave bugs in PLAIN SIGHT and consider their work being done properly. Amy, surely your checklist must include clean the floors and that wasn't done in any room as i can continue to post more bug photos as they are in the living room, hallway, bathroom, and main bedroom. Amy who owns "Well Kept" is a very nice person and has very good communication skills, but lacks cleaning skills. Not only did she not do a good job she did t do the job at all! First cleaning was ok, lots of "basic" things not done but ok for what I paid. I knew it was too good to be true". A month later Amy left me a message saying she had me down for another "standard cleaning service" and I responded telling her I wanted to be honest and told her I didn't think the first cleaning was very good. She replied with an apology and said it was just basic surfaces. I guess my stove, counter tops, area rug in my bedroom And side tables in living room, we're not basic surfaces. ‍ she then replied she would be willing to come Tuesday and do a "Deep Clean" for the standard cleaning price. I came home from a very long day on my feet and was so tired, just wanted a clean house to come home to. Not only was it not a Deep Clean it wasn't even a standard clean. Hired for deep cleaning biweekly. I leave the house for a couple hours then get a text that the cleaner was ill and had to leave. Would I like a partial refund or someone can come finish in the morning. I'm understanding things happen so coming next day to finish is fine. Next day no contact. No response to texts Facebook messages left voicemails. Very unprofessional!! I guess I'm going to have to dispute the charge with my bank. All she did was vacuum and clean the bathrooms so now I have to hire someone else to come and finish the rest of the apartment. Update: 5 minutes after this review they contacted me offering to refund or come complete the service..apparently forgetting that they already promised that. And amazing how all messages to her before this review were ignored huh . I asked what time and was blocked. Hours later got a message online saying I'd be refunded which I screenshot to show my bank because I highly doubt it. Drugs are bad mmmmkkkk. AND don't think I didn't notice my wallet with my credit cards unzipped and wide open in my closet. Don't catch a charge it's not worth it!! Do NOT trust this lady in your home! And there's no 'we' it's just Amy being fake. She said she had an asthma attack while vacuuming.. so bad another employee (again she's the only employee) had to come take her to the hospital from my home. And still sick the next day? I want to preface this by saying the only reason I'm not giving this company 4 or 5 stars is because of our last interaction with Amy. We've been using them for six months or so now and the cleanings are subpar at best. There are things that are supposed to be included in a regular clean that Amy just doesn't do. Now granted, we have animals and have dogs in and out of our house on a regular basis. But we do do our best to keep our house relatively clean. It is hard for us to keep up with though which is why we hired a cleaner. That being said, after Amy would leave (like right after) we'd go into our bathroom where no animals have been since she left and there would be chunks of hair stuck to the floor still. Like it looked like it hadn't been touched with a mop, broom, or vacuum in months. She wouldn't vacuum our one area rug in the living room. During deep cleans she wasn't wiping our cabinets off or wiping the baseboards. My husband was getting on me and telling me that we needed a different cleaner because she wasn't doing a very good job. I told him that she's human and humans make mistakes and that we should talk to her first before firing her. So I tried to do that. We were told in our consultation that oven cleaning was included in our deep cleans. Well, that was another thing that Amy wasn't doing. So I texted her before our last cleaning and asked her if it would help if I made a list of the things that needed to get done for each clean because there are some rooms in our house that don't need as much work done and I understood how that could be confusing and we had noticed there were some things that weren't getting done. I could tell as soon as I texted her that, I could tell that she was upset. Messages that were usually filled with emojis and explanation points were all of a sudden curt. Even though I could tell she was upset, I was not coming from a negative place so I made the list for her. She looked at it right away, and then informed me that oven cleanings were not a part of a deep clean and that she would have to charge extra for them. This immediately threw me off because both my husband and I clearly remember her telling us that they were included. I told her this and she said that they had changed the policy a few months back and changed what was included in each clean. So at this point, my hope that she would keep this a positive interaction is turning into knowing that she's wanting it to be a negative one and wondering why she would do that. So I tell her that since we were told it was included and we started working with her before all this change (that we were not informed of by the way) that this should still be included in our deep cleanings which are 4x a year. She says no, she tells us that she'll include it once but not again since I guess we were supposed to keep up with her Facebook and website to see what was included in our cleanings after we already booked her. I'm not sure how that's supposed to be our responsibility. She then says that her co-owner was supposed to tell all the clients about the change but she "guesses they didn't" there's no apology, no attempt to really make it right for us. It's basically all an inconvenience for her that she even has to deal with us anymore at this point. I told her that this wasn't sitting well with us and that we would have to find a different cleaner, that we really liked her as a person (though I'm changing my mind on that now) and wanted to support her and her business, but this just wasn't okay. She barely responded. She just said "Okay." and was done with us. We really liked her at first and thought she really cared about us and maintaining positive relationships with her clients. I'm hoping that today was just a bad day for her and that she'll react better if any other clients have issues with their cleanings. That's why she's getting 3 stars instead of 1. There was also a very passive aggressive Facebook post made not long after our interaction which is again, not sitting well with us. read more
