This store is laid out just like every other lidl - same size as the rest of them, the same exact layout. The staff here aren't remarkable in either a positive or a negative way. However, it is very good for basics and we usually go once a month to stock up. Husband is foreign and recognises a lot of the brands from his childhood. He enjoys buying and sharing these foods with us The Yeovil store has the same layout as the Street store (we go to both), which is handy when you're in a rush but disorientating too! We can get a months' worth of groceries here in a hour at very good value (although not everything is significantly cheaper than main supermarkets). There isn't the same range of goods, but that's okay with us. However, we rarely buy fresh fruit and veg here as we tend to find it only lasts a couple of days. So a trip to Lidls is usually followed by a trip to another shop for the fruit and salad and maybe one or two other bits. Staff are polite at the tills. We've never particularly had the need to ask for additional help so I can't comment on their customer service in general.

The petrol station is great and usually the cheapest in the area. The store has been clean and well maintained on every visit. The checkouts move fast so you don't end up waiting for ages to pay after doing your shopping. There are always plenty of trolley and a lot to choose from in Asda. I find the prices in Asda very competitive and i usually end up with loads of food for a very reasonable price. The pizzas that are made to order in the store offer fantastic value as do the Asda smart price items. The only negitive is the traffic lights on the entrance and exit are a complete pain!

Petrol prices here are usually the same as Tesco and Morrison, although Asda always seems to be the first to put them down. Pay-at-pump options only at very quiet times such as Sunday afternoon. After Christmas it sells off a lot of its stock at greatly reduced prices. The car park is enormous and there is never a problem parking. On the top floor of the Supermarket they have added value with a pet shop, hairdessers etc. I'm sure that this isn't very good for the town centre but it does make it even more of a one stop shop.

What's the point of telling people Morrison's have no shortage of fuel, when clearly that is an…read moreoutright LIE !. I live 8 miles from town, that's a 16 mile round trip using fuel to get there and back. Morrison's are preventing people calling the Petrol Stations by phone to check on deliveries. So all I can do is drive there, which I have now done three times and been told on each occasion the delivery has not arrived...... Now I don't even have enough left in my car to make a 4th journey........ There isn't just a fuel shortage, there is a terribly "serious" fuel shortage and Morrison's are doing all they can to make life as difficult as possible for customers to get vital updates on local fuel deliveries !. I followed the official advice and chose not to panic buy...... But the Government Lied to us all saying there was no shortage and the Petrol Stations all compounded that lie saying there was no shortage. When obviously there is.... Otherwise I would not be in the situation I am now !.

I love Iceland for frozen food but that is about it. Iceland have done TV adverts promotion there…read moreother offer but I think there frozen foods offer fantastic value. Yeovil Iceland does not have its own parking you need to park in the shopping centre which is pay and display but that is not much of a problem to be honest. The store is a bit of a pain to navigate around as the rows are not very wide so it is a bit manic at busy times and when a couple of trolleys try to pass. I find Iceland has some amazing offers but it is very limited so you cannot do your completely weekly shop in there. There is not much in the way of fresh produce. The checkout moves very quickly in Iceland and i seem to be able to complete the weekly shop very quicky and it is completly stress free! The staff are a bit thin on the ground put as long as there are some on the checkout which there always is i am happy
