I had the extraordinary misfortune of dealing with Skylink recently. First, they scheduled me on a…read more42+ hour trip (that SHOULD take 24ish) with an absurd number of layovers and an inexplicable 8-hour layover in Washington DC. You're telling me there were no later flights into DC or earlier flights out of DC?! Yeah right! Every time I've tried to ask for better flights, they make some lame excuse about there not being any other available flights. Obviously this isn't true because I can find MANY better flights on the SAME airlines that Skylink booked me on. Second, they scheduled one leg of the trip on Silver Airlines, which made me pay a $60 baggage fee. Even though my trip was international, Silver still made me pay the baggage fee. Skylink never warned me about this. It literally would have been faster and cheaper to drive the first leg of the trip rather than take Silver Airlines. Third, in order to avoid Silver Airlines again, I changed my return flight, but Skylink neglected to tell me that canceling that leg of my travel would give me $162 credit towards the purchase of a new ticket. Of course, I don't find this out myself until after the credit had expired. I'd sincerely like to avoid ever dealing with Skylink again!!
