Zachariah was caring and thoughtful in the lead up to our big day, he made thoughtful suggestions and was flexible with our needs. He was timely, easy, and joyful to work with. All of that combined with his technical talent lead to a beautiful film that really captured the vibe of our wedding. He arrived the day before our wedding to capture aerial sunset footage of our venue. We were unsure whether to get the aerial footage, but Zachariah encouraged us to and in the end we are so happy we did! His drone footage was incredible and seriously added to the filming of our event. On the day of our wedding, he arrived early and worked really well with our photographer who he'd never met. He directed us well during necessary moments, but mostly went with the flow of the wedding. His expertise was clear when he knew where to place his many cameras and move them accordingly as the night went on. Additionally, his music background makes for wonderful audio to complement his video. We were lucky to have him also take pictures and delivered us a sneak-peek picture the day after the wedding! He then sent our wedding highlight film under a month after the wedding (honestly the only reason it took him that long is because we were slow in giving him the music suggestions)! The video is incredible. We have watched our wedding film multiple times already and know that it will be cherished for the rest of our lives. Everyone who was at our wedding has commented that our film truly captures the essence of our wedding. Not only was Mike always efficient and accommodating in communication before the party, but he came an hour early to set everything up and then after the 3 hours, took everything down without a problem! The Photo Booth was a big hit! There was a large amount of props to chose from and use, including props specific to a 21st birthday. The social media kiosk made it easy for my friends and I to post our photo booth pictures to Facebook and I could email them to my mom so that she felt like she was there. Mike brought two backdrop options based off of my color scheme. I literally poured over the work of at least 100 videographers in Florida looking for the very…read morebest, most talented videographers I could find. When I found Films by Ross I was blown away by how well the videos were crafted. I knew I had to bring him onboard for our wedding and was even willing to change the wedding date if needed to ensure we could have him film our wedding day for us. Luckily, we planned our wedding on a weekday in the off season, so we were fortunate to be able to contract him with relatively little notice. I could go on and on telling you about how amazing his films are; but, you can check out his Instagram and YouTube to see his work which speaks for itself. Instead, I want to tell you why you should consider contracting him outside of how stunning his work is. One detail that is often overlooked when planning a wedding is making sure every vendor and service you bring on his highly professional and able to work well with the rest of the team you put together. Ross worked so well with the photographers, the coordinator, the private chef, hair and makeup artist and the guests. He took great care to make sure the other vendors got what they needed to ensure their end product would be on point and in turn they did the same for him. This detail is absolutely crucial to ensure your day and the whole operation runs smoothly. You want and need your service providers to work well together. You would have thought Ross had been lifelong friends with the photographer by how well they worked in tandem. It was truly impressive, and I am so thankful for that because it made the day so easy to enjoy. He also pays close attention to detail. He manages to capture the day so well; but, you never feel like you have cameras in your face or have to perform. You get to be in the moment and enjoy the day with your new spouse and guests while he is in the background documenting each moment in a way that does not feel intrusive. That skill alone gives you the ability to sit back, relax and enjoy each moment while the work gets done in the background. It's truly amazing to see the finished products and how detailed each film is after such an emotional day. He also manages to turn around finished products much faster than his competitors. Considering how stunning his work is, it is incredibly impressive how quickly he is able to get the first teaser trailer over to you. It is always so tough to wait on finished professional products after the wedding; but, Ross manages to edit and craft his videos in record time. We were so thankful for that! Lastly, if you want any changes or something added that was not included, he kindly takes your requests and does everything he can to ensure the finished product is exactly what you hoped for. He is so easy to work with and so kind. Again, these are things you wouldn't know from just looking at his finished films. Contracting Films by Ross was worth every penny! We are so thankful he was able to film our wedding, and we will cherish these videos for the rest of our lives.
