While trying to open a business account, not only did they sit me down in a room and put me on a call with somebody which I could have just done that at home in my boxer shorts, but the attendant left on a break in the middle of it when I was supposed to be emailing him correspondence to verify documents and then afterwards allegedly my documents weren't good enough. I wasted 2 1/2 hours well they neglected me and basically took a poop break in the middle of me trying to open a business account and deposit over $10,000 but I'll be taking my money somewhere else and I won't be giving it to fools like this. read more

Representative treated me poorly on the phone said I wasn't who I said I was and bailed on me saying I might be phishing after he asked me a bunch of questions about my account with them and I answered him, all correctly. He had my work phone as my personal phone and then blamed me and transferred me to administration. Since this happened I went into their reviews and I found out many peeps think they are terrible. Online c.d. but when it came to end we live to far away from branch so they would not wire my funds over 25k....only jump thru hoops to get our money, the phone tree is ridiculous, customer service is rude, now I have to pay a lot of money to have my money fed x. They could not give me a firm day they have to run it thru management. So we will always ask these on line banks or credit unions when cd is up will you wire money. We have opertunity to get good rate and now I have to worry hoe long it will take to get our money. NEVER HEARD OF A CRECIT UNION NOT BEING ABLE TO WIRE MORE THAN 25K AT A TIME !! read more

We used Space coast before without an issue this time was the worst experience ever. I was buying a vehicle was asked to provide the buyer order which i did, then they asked for my wife and my driver license and my wife pay stubs. We did then they asked for proof of residence for my wife I said its the same on the drivers license and the same on the pay stub. They asked for junk mail showing she receives junk mail i know that sounds crazy but its the truth. They sent me a message that said Congrats you are approved but must show proof of residence again. This went on for 10 days until I just went to dealership and paid cash for car. I would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. The first car i did with them I paid it off within a year. Maybe that's why they did not make much money on it. I did ask why a state license is not good enough for proof and junk mail is! No answer. read more

Never get a auto loan from this place they trick you and make you think it's easy with one simple phone call once you get approved for a loan with a vehicle in mind...the employees there are a bunch of circus animals and have no idea how to do business especially Franci the dealership reviewer she honestly should be fired I tried getting a hold of her many times and she only called me once and left a vm and then called me again but stating that the dealership I was wanting to get the car wasn't approved... and wouldn't explain why because it's "disclosed information" there is no communication with this bank having me run in circles trying to get a vehicle to "their liking" instead of a vehicle I want its honesty unfair that they approve a auto loan but wants you to either buy from a private person off the street or a dealership to their liking although I'm the one paying the loan.. keep in mind the vehicle I wanted was a clean title and had a vin number and everything...But I wouldn't be surprised if this bank closed down they do everything backwards if they don't like the dealership you're going with...you would have to submit them a bill of sale first and have them approve it before going anywhere with them and to get the vehicle... keep in mind this dealership is on Google and has good reviews and the document sent was a actual bill of sale pdf through their business email and provided everything. I have banked at sccu for about 4 years, I have nothing good to say about this bank. Don't apply for any type of loan, even if you have good credit they will deny you for some BS reason. I've never even been denied a credit card, they were the first.. now auto loan nope.. I guess having perfect payment history and zero missed payments ever doesn't mean anything. This review is sent after AGAIN leaving phone messages for manager Kathryn Hoffman (extension 6784) twice yesterday with NO response. Monday, April 22nd I applied for a $12000 home equity loan with Diane (ext. 883.) My credit score is 760, $100k yearly income with 8 years on the job and $170,000 equity in my home. The following day I was approved by Diana (Ext. 883) for a $30,000 revolving home equity account. I was told it could take 2 weeks to process. She said she needed my last 3 mortgage statements, a flood insurance policy and the H.O.A. statement showing flood damage insurance. We emailed them to her the following day and could not reach her for several days. She would only return emails saying she was busy. We moved forward with the home improvements. After a week and not getting a return call from Diana we asked for another S.C.C.U. representative and got Judy on extension 5512. She suggested a"BRIDGE LOAN" that would be approved immediately and funds available today or tomorrow. We did the bridge loan with assurances that they needed to check my credit AGAIN but would get the inquiry removed from my credit bureau within a week. That was a month ago and STILL NOTHING. The contract emailed to me was incorrect with errors and expensive unwanted insurance. I took time off work and drove to S.C.C.U. in Sunrise. Debbie was wonderful, after a couple hours with her in her office she straightened everything out and the funds were in my account. There was a $35 fee I paid even though I was told there would be no fees. In the meantime, the home equity loan was being handled by Vickie Guy (ext 6265) because we called manager Kathryn Hoffman (Ext 6784) to complain about dissatisfaction with not getting a returned call from Diana (Ext 883). Same crap with Vickie Guy not returning a call. Again we called Kathryn Hoffman to complain and she did not call me back. SPACE COAST CREDIT UNION SUCKS? Went to B.B& T and got a revolving $25k loan handled, funds dispersed in a couple week with BETTER TERMS? SPACE COAST SUCKS? In addition I had my credit card fraudulently used with no recourse or assistance from S.C.C.U. In particular, Rick, a branch manager. Be very careful when you're using mobile check deposit even though you are given a confirmation number, you are not assured that it's approved and will be cashed and you are given the money. I noticed a email said it was DISCARDED for a stale date. (wrong year) and when that's the case those kind of checks are only good for one year so they're essentially writing the check which will expire the day after they write it by accident. When I called to get an image of the check, SCCU said "sorry we only hold them for 30 days and image is erased" leaving no way for me to dispute. I do the accounting for my business at the end of month. I worked hard for that $. Funny, they keep deposited check images from the checks they cash covering themselves from other banks, but only 30 days for us. It would help gave us a longer hold time of an image of discarded checks they deem DISCARDED and POOF they are gone. I do not destroy any mobile deposited checks so I went back to my records for that period and I had over 23 people that wrote me a check for the same amount and I cannot go up to that many people and ask them. read more
