Called to see if they are open this morning, answering machine says press 1 for hrs of operation, then doesn't say, just closed call back when open. checked online, says open. Called Denning health main office to inquire, they don't know the office hours! Drove to clinic at 8:00, "c u next Tuesday" says they are fully booked. Wtf, how is that possible? I was always told this is a drop in clinic, they don't take bookings. Nowhere is there any clue how to make an appointment! The nice lady from main office called me back to tell me they are fully booked, that was at least nice of her to call back. The short of it is if you have a family doctor, just go there, you have to make an appointment anyway.

He has called several times to find that they either do not answer the phone or the results are not back in as of yet. We recently found out that Dr. O has left this practice and decided to call again this morning. My husband called and was told the results are not in yet, he asked if Dr. O was still there, and was told no. The receptionist finally said the results have not been read, and that he would have to get them sent to another clinic to be read and then was hung up on. I am not sure how this is morally responsible to hang up on your clients and or not try to help them. He will not be visiting this practice again as clearly the staff are much too busy to do their job correctly and efficiently and certainly do not care about their clients.

I picked this location because it had an appointment time that worked for me. Got there at my appointment time and once the nurse helped me through the entire process. I got to sit and eat a bag of salty snacks and drink water before I was checked in. Honestly, it took longer to check in and process the paperwork than it did to actually give blood. After that, they made sure I sat in the recovery part of the clinic and eat some recovery snacks before I was allowed to go. All throughout the process I was thanked left and right for making the appointment and coming in to donate blood. You can only donate blood a few times a year, so I will be making another appointment as soon as I can. I would encourage everyone to donate blood if they are eligible.

Made an online appointment at 1pm. Prior to going I completed the questionnaire in the app and off I went. Was a bit of a long drive drive, but was worth it since it's giving blood to help others...AND thank goodness for GPS. When I arrived I was third in line outside of the office. (COVID protocol), and was greeted warmly, was asked a set of questions, took my temperature and off to the waiting area after check in. Waited only a few minutes after reading the precautions before I went to get my hemoglobin tested. 8 minutes to draw my 450ml of blood and I was done. The staff were super friendly and great conversationalists and genuinely care. Glad I came to this location. Don't forget the best part...cookies, juices, snacks for recovery. I learned something new..they provide a sticker to stick onto you shirt to identify that you just gave blood should a first responder is required. Smart!!
