Everyone was so welcoming, and the doctor was exceptionally caring - she explained things to my dad over and over again because he doesn't usually understand things the first time. Before her appointment, I was very concerned about severity of her injury and after the first follow up dr wouldn't even open the bandage, they sent us to see Dr George. After the delay in the first appointment, I wanted to be assured we were heading to the right doctor. So as I read the profile of Dr George, I felt more confident in what I was reading about his experience and when I read he treats patients like a member of his family that struck me as a power sign we were in good hands. Dr George always took the time with my mom, addressed EVERY fear, helped us all to laugh about something to ease the anxiety about the healing process but he was always very cautious, confident and calm. I can say after weekly follow up appointments for 10 weeks, we were going through stressful times but what was the best outcome with Dr George expertise and guidance, needless to say we are just so thankful for Dr George! Dr George treating you like a family member is spot on of who he is so caring and does wholeheartedly, let's just say he is welcome anytime to a family gathering and means a lot to our family! As I read the other recent reviews, Dr George is where his calling is, he is a professional and knows what he is doing so if you have to wait, I would wait for as long as needed to see Dr George and If you are having to wait it is only because someone truly needs his expertise time. With that said, on our weekly visits, we really only waited once past our appointment time. Dr George is the real blessing to have in the medical field and our family review gives him 100%, highly recommended so if he is your dr, you are really in incredible caring hands! WE LOVE DR GEORGE!! The Dedick Family

If you are traveling eastbound on 22nd, you are SOL. The building is located on the northeast corner of Main and 22nd. Now, the staff is extremely nice and professional. They ask you to come in a half hour early for your initial appointment to fill out all the paperwork. That completed, I was called into an exam room at exactly my appointment time. The doctor is extremely kind and gentle, and although I was not pleased with the direction my treatment plan is headed, he was very calming, and with a sense of humor. He's got some pretty nifty gizmos that I wish could be used for a pedicure. Office is clean, equipment is up-to-date, even the chair was on the comfortable side. Must have many satisfied clients because getting an appointment took a couple of weeks.

I put together a couple images of when my foot flare ups were really bad as well as notes I have taken on the symptoms. As I tried to share this information with Dr. Zimmerman, I was rudely interrupted and told "I'm a doctor for feet, not pictures". I want to clarify that what I had to say would not taken but TWO minutes to explain. The remainder of the appointment did not get better. I had a really hard time feeling heard or respected by this doctor. I felt belittled when he spoke to me harshly and impatiently. I went home and I cried. I absolutely do NOT recommend him.

Unfortunately, the office staff are absolutely terrible. On my first visit, the women were having a loud personal conversation thru the walls. One sat at the reception desk, the other in her office, and they just went on and on about their personal problems. The front desk woman was in training and when I asked questions about my care, she told me she didn't know. On my second visit, her trainer was present so I followed up with my questions thinking she'd have the answers. They both gave me attitude as if I was inconveniencing them for asking. Of course, neither of them would provide me much help. So aggravating, rude, and unprofessional. Same experience as all other reviews, they recommended that I come 2x per week. When they were pushing to schedule the following week's appointments, I decided to hold off until I received my first round of bills. Glad I did and also decided not to return. The treatment costs add up fast and it's definitely not worth dealing with the office staff.

I had a third L4-L5 disc replacement, and then told me that he was leaving for 5 days with his family, and left a PA in charge. I told her every day for 5 days in the hospital that I had severe pain, different from prior surgeries, from my left hip to knee to the inside of my left lower leg. She rolled her eyes each time and told me to push the button (for pain meds.) When Dr Mather returned and saw I hadn't eaten or slept, and was in such severe pain, he did a CT scan and at the end of his day, at 10:30 pm, he took me back to surgery. After recovery, he said, "I removed a cherry pit sized piece of disc material that I inadvertently left behind." He said it could be 2-3 months before the very irritated L4 root nerve would calm down. He kept raising my dose of pain meds as I went to follow up appointments. After 4 months, he switched me to Oxycontin because he couldn't raise the Norco dose any higher due to too much acetaminophen. He said, "In some cases like yours, the root nerve never recovers, and I'm afraid that's what happened here." I became disabled for life, I lost my beloved nursing job, and could barely do anything that I previously loved to do. He referred me to a pain clinic. I went back periodically for Dr Mather to sign for a disabled car plaquard, and the last time, he yelled at me, "I will not sign this! I did no such thing! You are no longer my patient! SECURITY! Escort this person out of my office!!" Be very careful if anything goes wrong! The only reason I didn't bring suit is I lost my 22 year old son 2 months after surgery; 2 months before being told I was disabled for life. Otherwise, it would have been an easy win. People make mistakes, but when he kicked me out of his office, and denied it all happened, that made me sick. I continue to have complications now, years later. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would.
