I told the shrew behind the desk that it means emotional support animal. I then told her before my husband could come inside, I had to go outside and take the puppers so that he could come inside. She immediate self righteously told me that I couldn't being her inside .... Maybe she hadn't had her coffee .. hearing loss? Some sort of cognitive disorder? She then triumphantly added that I couldn't have my unsweetened black tea my husband just purchased for me. Due to medication, I am constantly thirsty. That was a deal breaker in itself. I didn't bother to explain. I was picking up what this "health professional" was putting down. I walked outside and told my husband what had transpired. We agreed that yes .. the southeast is not even remotely as civilized as the west. I went back and cancelled both appointments. I added that at no time had I asked to bring my ESA in with me. I would add at this point, ESA's, certified ones like mine, are never turned away in San Diego, Seattle, or anyplace else I've lived on the West Coast. I have severe anxiety disorder. That's why I have an ESA. To be honest, I think when this person saw my tattoos and facial piercings she had made up her mind about me then and there. I think it's a safe bet that these people didn't want my family's business. Cool .. they didn't get it. Nor will they ever.

I was greeted by friendly staff at check in, and the customary stack of "new patient" paperwork. The waiting room was clean, tidy with several flat screens playing different channels and chairs appropriately separated during this Covid19 crisis time. My wait of about 25 minutes was reasonable. My x-ray technician was polite, very personable and timely. Next, I was escorted to the patient exam room, immediately shown my x-rays on a flatscreen (wow, speedy) and I was asked additional questions regarding my bum knee. Dr. Spivey arrived to my patient room in less than 10 minutes. A thorough evaluation of my bum knee, and the x-rays, resulted in a diagnosis that was clearly explained. Several options were discussed, and he was gracious with answering all my questions with my complete understanding. I couldn't have ask for a better experience from staff, x-ray technician to caring surgeon.

So, work brought me back to Vidalia and my friggin' bad back came with me. I was in agony and…read morethankfully I remembered the fine folks at Tri-County Chiropractic. I called and just like before and they got me in. I remembered the doctor from before Dr. Heidi and asked for her. Unlike the Chiropractor I've been going to for forever and a day Dr. Heidi took some X-Rays asked some questions work, lifestyle, and general questions. I only lied about my level of exercise. LOL, so sue my working the remote is cardio. She performed my adjustment and I immediately felt 100X's better. She suggested some core exercises, I had to google that after LOL, so I need to do more sit ups and the like. The Chiropractor I normally see after about a week-10 days I need another adjustment. It's been 2+ weeks I feel like new money, if I were moving, I'd seriously consider Vidalia just because these folks are so nice and helpful. I only wish I could make these folks my primary care provider. Everyone from the Dr. to the office staff was so very nice and accommodating.
