Hi I have had a spa day bought for my birthday I had an appointment for nails, they called and changed it I had a massage and a facial booked they called and wanted to change the time, I couldn't, when I left there I booked for another facial today, They have called and cancelled it for another day, I cant I have changed my workday to suit them for this appointment, I have a nail appointment booked for the end of the month, hopefully, they won't change that. I love Spa de Vie! I have been a client for a while now. The new building is so nice and always clean. Everyone is so welcoming when I come in from offering the get me something to drink to paying at the end of the service. Abbey Johnson is the stylist that I go to, and she is AMAZING! She always creates the perfect shades of purple for me! I am super picky, and she always makes my hair look perfect. She recently did my nieces hair. It was fried from flat ironing and in choppy awful layers. When Abbey was finished with her highlights, lowlights, and cute her hair was SUPER CUTE! Abbey always does what I ask and makes sure I'm satisfied before I leave. Book her for a great experience. I didn't get a before, but this is my niece's look after Abbey was finished! My first visit today was great. I went in today to get a mani -Pedi. Erin is amazing! She is does fabulous nails. I haven't been this pleased in a long time. She found out what I wanted and did exactly that. She took her time and my French nails are Perfect! Erin has earned herself a new customer. She was friendly and helpful. I went n and asked if someone had time to see me. They asked if I could come back in 20 minutes, no problem. I am greeted by Gina.. wow waves at me from her chair and says sit. Then the first thing she says is "oh did you get your hair cut at great clips" I said no I didn't. Then she proceeds to tell me she'll fix it. Boy did she.. wayyy to short went crazy with the razor. When she got done it was disastrous. She was on the phone and distracted tried to make small talk but just rude. I have never had an experience like that. Charged me $35.00 for what not sure. I never write bad reviews but after the experience I had here I felt like I needed to. I went a little after the quarantine reopening to get a haircut. It was my first time going. I work as a nurse so over the last couple of months my hair has taken lot of damage from washing/ wearing up at work, and I was really excited to get it cut. The owner cut my hair, she acted like she would rather have been anywhere else but there. She barely said a word to me, and anything I said she barely responded to. It was so uncomfortable and awkward. The actual cutting process lasted maby five minutes. I asked for long flowy layers and she completely chopped up the ends of my hair. She didn't even make sure the layers were even on both sides, it looks so sloppy and unflattering. It will take months to grow out. When I went up to pay, she charged me $50 for the most basic cut!! Before I could even finish signing the receipt she started walking away from the counter. I can't speak to the other stylists that work there, but I found it very disappointing that the owner would treat a client that way. I could have gotten a better haircut and better treatment for half the cost. I didn't make it a point to complain, because to fix it I would have to go even shorter. Don't waste your money here, there are better places that actually value you and give you your money's worth. All this place is is smoke and mirrors. Your paying for the decor, not the haircut. And btw she is going to make you sign a waiver saying she's not liable if you get sick . Talk about someone who only is looking out for themselves! read more

They just lost a would be new client. I am from Charlotte and this was my very fist time here. You would think that the salon would do everything they could to make u happy to earn your business, but no. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had in a salon. EVER. The stylist, ABBIE ( or ABIGAIL) JOHNSON kept me waiting 30 minutes past my appt, then when I finally sat in her chair she didnt even ask me what I was wanting to do she just ran to the back and started mixing color. She totally ruined my hair with toner it is yellow now. She kept me there for 4 long hours toner, then foils making it one big orange mess. I left unhappy that day as you can imagine. She promised to fix it. After attempts to contact her with no response I contacted the owner who did not even apologize or offer a solution. Nice salon but all frills and broken promises. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU HERE. Go spend your hard earned money some place else. On top of everything I now have to pay someone else to fix the mess she has left me with. Rude staff. What a shame. My boyfriend was about to book my mom and I spa packages here. Not now!!! read more

This is a gorgeous modern spa and salon. I love the marble and light fixtures and the soothing tones. I was given a nice glass of wine upon my arrival and was greeted warmly. I was very impressed . Went to get a "express facial" and a mani pedi while my mom got a facial and massage. I went back for my facial at 9:45 and she was done by like 9:55 a.m. an express facial is supposed to be 30 minutes. Once I got out the other lady was like "uhh that was really quick so they took me back again and she did some more random stuff for another 10 minutes. What was supposed to be a 30 minute facial turned into a 20 minute random facial. I was not impressed. I don't like to be mean or difficult but if I pay for 30 minutes I expect 30 minutes. My mom was supposed to get an hour long facial and massage and the facial girl once again rushed through and finished her hour log facial 25 minutes early! Like really?! Then she sat for an hour and waited for my mani pedi to be over. There were no robes or wine it anything a decent spa would have during the facial she used ice cold towels and barely any steam. It was probably the worst facial I have ever gotten. We went to forum day spa in march and it was wonderful and professional and exactly what you would expect in a spa. Go to forum day spa if you're trying to have an authentic day spa experience. This place is more of a hair salon then a spa :( like I said go to forum if you want a real spa. read more
