I stay at the embassy suites often and always wanted to try the service at this spa. I decided to give it shot and initially walked in to get their two special offers for a $100.00. This is advertised on a pamphlet in each of the rooms but the receptionist told me since they are closing soon that I will only be able to get one service. She offers the Swedish massage for $75.00 an hour which I agreed too. Then she proceeded to ask if I preferred Swedish or deep tissue massage. Since I travel a lot and my back muscles are always tight I told her that I prefer the deep tissue which then she followed up by stating that the service is $90.00. Looking at how nice the place looked I didn't mind paying for a good massage at that rate. After agreeing she proceeded with taking me to the back room and showing me the locker room to change. She also stated that there is food and snacks out and that I can help myself. I proceeded to go inside the locker room to change. The robes were very old and looked unwashed. I was hesitant to put the plastic flip-flops on too as I'm not sure how they clean them. I proceeded to come out and wait in the waiting room and that's when I was greeted by my masseuse. She was a very nice lady and she told me her entire life story for the hour she massaged me. I didn't mind at first but it made it very difficult to relax and I didn't want to be rude and tell her to stop talking. Her massage was basically rubbing my back for an hour and it was the furthest thing from a deep tissue massage. I walked out very disappointed and I would definitely not recommend getting a deep tissue massage from this place read more

All massages that I had there were amazing; however, there are few things that need so much improvement. 1- i have seen lots of hair on the showers and a crawling bug... it does seem they keep it clean every other hour. 2- the robes are wore out quite a bit. 3- the shoes are tight and not comfortable. 4- they are not serving fruits anymore, just a jar of terrible candy. 5- the front desk literally asked for more tip after looking how much I already was able to give... it was very uncomfortable. For the price we paid, the facility is not worth it. The massagists are wonderful, but the full spa experience that you expect for the price is not even close. There are so many cheaper prices around here that I'm gonna give it a shot instead of leaving the Embassy thinking that it did not fulfill my expectations. read more

There are several great therapists at this beautiful facility. The spa manager Laura was extremely welcoming and informative. She really cared about what my needs were. My first visit to Spa Botanica located adjacent to the Embassy Suites Hotel. I was impressed. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. My friends and I booked services the week before and they worked with us to ensure we could all have our treatments on a relative similar schedule. We were taken first to the the locker rooms which were very clean. We each got our own locker, fresh robe and slippers to put on. All the amenities were available-down to toothbrush and deodorant. There were showers and a steam room. There was a separate changing room for the modest. We were taken to the waiting area which was a dimply lit room full of cushioned chaise sofa loungers. There was a large tiled water feature and the flat screens on the wall was of the ocean and waves crashing on the beach. We had a fruit bar and water to drink. You are welcome to lounge before and after any service. My masseuse was great. The room was comfortable. Great soothing music and light. I had the hot stone massage which was divine. The only downside is the cost. They are very pricy and you could probably get just as good of massage and other services at another place locally. What you pay for is the entire experience. read more

My review is of the locker room/sauna only. I have been here twice after receiving massages to use the sauna to sweat out some toxins. Both times, female staff barged in. The first time, I was in the sauna and a staff member paid no attention to the rob hanging by the sauna that was clearing on and in use and looked thru door to see if someone was in it. Yes! I was! And naked! The second time a female staff member came in 3 times! Stealing my robe once. While cleanliness is important, there is no reason for female staff to check the men's sauna every 15 minutes. Once every 2 hours is plenty! And hire some male staff to do it. I felt very uncomfortable using a men's locker room where female staff enter multiple times within an hour. One of my favorite places. The relaxation lounge is amazing right before your service. There are steam rooms in the bathroom and not to mention the spa is so relaxing. I followed my hair stylist here and love it. Sara's booth is in the back and quiet without the head splitting babble of multiple stylists and clients. Sara is great about working you in last minute, does a great job on color and follows my suggestions although she often suggests a fresh twist I hadn't thought of. I have also gotten a gel manicure here and loved it as well as using the spray tanning service. My "tan" lasted all the way through my vacation. read more

Pros : proximity to where I live, short travel time. reasonable price for spa services. Most employees are attractive, friendly and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere Cons: As part of my package I received a pedicure - not quite to the standard of nail salons where i have been before. Some of the products sold in the lobby seemed impressive but none of the employees helped me understand them ( maybe not part of their jobs who knows). Snacks bar does not have silverware I hate eating with my hands even if it is strawberry and pineapple only. Very limited selection. I have been going to Spa Botanica for over 5 years, both for massage and nail services. I have no complaints about the people providing the services - excellent. However, in the last year the Spa seems to have declined overall. Showers not quite as clean, service overall not as good, and the tea/ fruit selection (as you wait in the serenity room) noticeably less quality. The last visit I had may be my last. I proceeded to pay for my massage and was unexpectedly upgraded from 60 min (my normal) to 75 min; I explained that although I finished later than expected (which seemed strange but I couldn't confirm when I went in), I had scheduled 60 min. The young girl at the counter proceeded to insult me, charge me incorrectly, and argue that "things happen" prior to insisting that I owed for 75 min despite noting that the scheduler of my service seemed to do multiple things wrong in the system. Long story short, I was not given manager to speak with as requested and although finally charged for 60 min as scheduled, felt very disrespected as a customer. Unfortunate because the Spa used to be wonderful. I understand new management is in place the last year which may explain the decline. read more

I am only giving a two star because the nail tech was very nice, however for the price that I paid it was not good at all. I have been to just regular nail salons and had better manis/pedis than I did at this spa and paid less. I received a gift card from a girlfriend so I thought I would get a mani/pedi before I leave to go on vacation. For my pedi I got a hot stone pedicure ($65), over all the pedi went ok. Was it worth the money, meh... The water was warm, the massage chair was nice, the hot stones were just warm but felt nice. My only complaint was that in the paint there was a tone of air bubbles which makes it not look so good. For my nails I got a shellac manicure ($35), it went very quick. She didn't soak my fingers in water to get my cuticles soft, just used an ointment that I see used a lot at nail salons. She barely trimmed my cuticles at all which always need it nor did she trim any around the sides of my nails, then just a quick shape. I washed my hands then the shellac was applied and I was done with my manicure. No hand massage or anything, I was a little shocked but was like ok I won't be coming back here ever. I leave and go about my business for the day. The next day I am finishing up packing and I notice one of my nails is chipped which is not supposed to happen with shellac (it is supposed to last 14 days with no chips, for me it usually lasts me like 10 days). I was not happy but didn't have time to go get it fixed. We leave for vacation and the next day again another nail is chipped and notice that another nail is starting to peel up. At this point I'm mad, I'm at the beginning of my vacation and have messed up nails. Over the next couple days almost all of them were messed up so I just picked it off because I can't stand having messed up nails which is why I went with Shellac. So overall for a mani/pedi I do not recommend going here and wish I would have used my gift card for a massage, from the reviews it sounds like they are good at those. read more

The staff is friendly, and the massage therapists are knowledgable about products without being pushy to purchase- which is a plus for me. I am an NWA local and I have tried all the spas in the area and this one is the best overall. The steam rooms are great and the facility is always clean and smells relaxing and great. If you have any concerns or questions, the staff are always so polite, understanding and more than accommodating. If you live or are visiting the Bentonville/Rogers area, this is the place to go. read more
