What I really appreciate in a massage is when the therapist is technical, calm and a good communicator. Sharon was able to ease my chronic conditions and completely relax my tense body. I had been intrigued by float therapy and desperately wanted to try it. I went into the appointment a little anxiety, but after being greeted by the friendly staff, that immediately faded. The staff was incredibly informative about the process and were able to answer all of my questions. After an informational video and a quick shower, I was ready to hop in the float tank. It took a few minutes to adapt to the sensory deprivation, but I took solace in the fact that a panic button was safely within reach. I was able to relax by slowly counting to 100. Doing so helped me clear my head and fully enjoy the experience. By placing my arms in the water over my head, I was able to relieve a lot of tension in my upper back and shoulders. I tried other positions, but this was my personal favorite. The 60 minutes quickly passed and I left feeling refreshed! I signed up immediately for a second session. Not only was my float experience wonderful, but my fiancé received a 60-minute Swedish massage which he raved about! Oftentimes, he complains about the lack of pressure applied on his trouble areas, but he was pleasantly surprised with the level of attention and detail given to his upper shoulders and back.
