Some constructive feedback regarding a very unpleasant reserved SP+ Parking experience 7/22 at your 205 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago IL garage.
Hectic Friday afternoon. 5pm. typical Chicago rush hour traffic, it's 350 degrees outside. Nowhere on your literature, map, or website does it give directions or even a HINT that this garage is secretly buried underground in a hell maze that smells like burnt hobo of North Michigan Ave. Or how to get to it. (if you remember the end of The Blues Brothers movie from 1979, this is pretty much what it looks like underground in a few car chase scenes). So I'm driving around making multiple repeated right turns after multiple light cycles above ground because hurried pedestrians are cheating and not paying heed to the don't walk/stop lights. Took me over an HOUR to find this god dammed garage that I had prepaid for, and I used to live in Chicago, so I'm not some hayseed. Fix your website/have proper signage. Heck, have any signage. Put a NOTE on your parking receipt that this is an underground garage and the exact intersections blocks away where you can access the down ramps to it, not just the street address for above ground. You don't answer your phone # listed on your receipt/website/yelp etc... Typical lazy/worthless Chicago lack of customer service. This was a very unpleasant parking experience. I am not a happy customer. This $19 spent was NOT worth saving $30 for walking 2 blocks to my hotel. Maybe my rant will save someone from experiencing my aggravation due to your company's stupidity and laziness. read more
