The problem was that we were in a room…read moreone floor above the back door to the kitchen where staff were in conversation--sometimes with guests-- most evenings and mornings. Given the weather was 90 F for our first days and there was no air conditioning we needed the windows left open. After the second night I couldn't sleep I asked if we could change rooms for the remaining four nights. The woman at the desk who I assume is the owner not only said in an abrupt manner that it was not possible. This is not a small hotel. I find it hard to believe they couldn't change us for at least two non-weekend nights. Though other rooms looked nicer than ours I give the hotel one star for the poor hospitality.

They have tried to assist, but it is clear that only a few guests at a time could use it. If you need to be on the internet then this is NOT the place to stay. The laundry down the street and coffee shop next door has better wifi. If they just fixed that part of the stay they would have 5 stars.
