History
Established in 2016.
Soviet Gallery was founded in 2014 by Bora Erdinç. When he moved to Berlin in 2013, found himself looking for employment himself. Given the opportunity to make a fresh start and do something creative, Bora decided to make a career out of something that had been a hobby of his for years: "Soviet vintage".
He began to sell in his first years by etsy.com and his web site because of his family role. He made many trips to old Soviet countries. In 2016 decided to make the project larger and combined with Soviet life.
01 Mai was the opening of Soviet Gallery & Cafe in alternative neighborhood "Kreuzberg" Berlin. He didn't want to limit his project only selling Soviet vintages, that's why he organizes weekly activities; Russian speaking hours, Soviet Film days and Retro parties.
Soviet Gallery corresponds to people who likes nostalgic moments, interested in Soviet history, looking for extra ordinary gifts, Russian learners, retro party lovers in Berlin.
