I was 22 at the time and I had been going to open houses for a few months without any realtor really taking the time to actually explain to me the steps that I needed to take in order to purchase a house. Ray identified my needs; house size, location, budget, etc. He made me a booklet where he narrowed it to 5 homes that fit into my needs but they were all sooo different. He made sure that we were able to view them all in the same day so I could compare them all. He was doing his own inspections at every stop and was writing all the pros and cons for me. I loved how he wasn't pushy either. He had saved the best for last. Long story short something went wrong with my pre-approval and I wasn't able to make an offer on the home that I chose in time so it was now pending. I was so devastated.
