This is located in the Munt Tower right by the Flower Market, therefore you can shop both in a short period of time. The clerks were efficient and very helpful, taking care to wrap your purchase for safe journey. A definite stop for anyone who loves the classic Delft pottery and can't get to Delft itself.

This store is not a tourist trap. Most of the pieces here are authentic Delftware. (Check the back if you're not sure!) They have every kind of porcelain you could want: tiles, dishes, statuettes, tulip vases, etc. The owner was probably about 80 years old and was following me around the entire time I was shopping to make sure I didn't break/steal anything, which was pretty entertaining. He was nice enough to wrap up my purchases for me, so I guess he didn't have any hard feelings :) 4 stars instead of 5 because the prices are pretty high. I got a pair of cotton clog slippers for €10 when at some other places they were as high as €19. It is a large store with a lot of variety. The person at the cash was happy to check his stock for the size I wanted and was able to find what I had asked for. I would recommend this shop to anybody visiting Amsterdam.
