He lived to be almost 15, and Lucy will be 15 next month. Dr. Squibb came to our house when it was time to say goodbye to Kelso - it's a bit more expensive for a house call, but it was such a better experience for him to be at home on his bed eating chocolate ice cream. And Dr. Squibb has such a caring, calming demeanor. I can't imagine having anyone else care for Lucy at this stage of her life. When I called to make Lucy's checkup appointment this summer, I learned that Dr. Squibb was no longer at the same clinic. I immediately said never mind and a quick Google search revealed she was now practicing at Crestwood. Whew! Crestwood is a smaller practice and it's waaaaay out south and about a half hour from our house, but we are willing to make that drive for Dr. Squibb. The clinic itself is bright and clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Theresa in reception. Lucy is generally in good health, but she has unfortunately started to suffer from dementia. Dr. Squibb has been so compassionate and helpful, researching and suggesting various options to manage her care. And she is always available to answer questions over the phone. It's such a comfort to have a trusted veterinarian caring for her now that she's a senior. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Squibb if you are looking for someone to care for your beloved pet(s)!

I found Crestwood since it's down the street from my new house in Tulsa, so I googled the business, and it has a solid 5 stars on Google reviews. Sold! I did not realize until I met him that Dr. McKinney is the same vet my family used in Sand Springs for decades before he sold his practice there and started a new one in Tulsa. He's an amazing vet, very honest yet sensitive to your pet's needs. He even mailed me a handwritten card (in pen, not printed) after my first visit. Teresa works the front desk, and she's literally the sweetest person I've EVER met. Holy cow, her phone and in-person mannerisms are top notch. The clinic is spotless; nice and clean. They offer bottled water, hot cocoa, coffee via a Keurig as well. Parking is ample since the business resides in a nice strip mall at 121st and Sheridan with plenty of spaces. Their prices are very reasonable, and I will continue seeing Dr. McKinney moving forward!

I spoke to Jenny at lengths on the phone when I made the initial appointment to obtain pricing and what care package would best suit our needs. We arrived the next day for our appointment - the facility is nice and clean! We were taken to a room by Monica who had quite a bit of knowledge and suggestions for flea/tick prevention, etc. Then we got to meet with Dr. Caruso who we absolutely adore! She has excellent bedside manner, took the time to listen and provide her feedback/suggestions based on the needs of our pups. She suggested that we do a courtesy dental check in 6 months as it just wasn't necessary to spend all kinds of money for dental cleanings at this time - our pups are getting older and we don't want to unnecessarily put them under for a cleaning, if it's not necessary...we appreciated Dr. Caruso's guidance and expertise - she genuinely cares and wouldn't suggest something that isn't necessary just to make a quick buck. She has integrity and high ethical standards. One of my pups has a known vaccine reaction so he always has to be pre-medicated. Dr. Caruso shared that most small dogs react to lepto, so did not get him vaccinated for that nor did we pre-medicate him. Unfortunately, my pup did react, so we discovered it was likely the rabies vaccination since he was not vaccinated for lepto. My pup was taken back and treated with a round of antihistamines and steroids - Dr. Caruso was very kind to comp those two injections. Our pups have "alerts" on their accounts now so that the RTAH staff know what allergies and special instructions to follow when our pups are seen - Monica even showed us the alerts so we were comfortable about the notes listed. We talked about switching dog food and Dr. Caruso walked out into the lobby, showed me the dog food and even grabbed the bag of dog food and carried to our exam room for us. The next day, Dr. Caruso called to check on the pups and also to provide us with fecal/blood work results. She told us to call if we even needed anything. Quite frankly, coming from a family of veterinarians, I'm extremely picky, with high standards and expectations when it comes to the care of my pets. Dr. Caruso and the gals at RTAH we're stellar - we will definitely be back and look forward to continuing a relationship with RTAH!

She listened to our concerns and even watched a small video we took of our dog. She was concerned and recommended we get an X-ray if we wanted. She was not pushy. She just said we need peace of mind that it's not something else. She was right. Our little guy had bladder stones and one stuck in his urethrae. She called in the surgeon, Dr. Don Schmidt. He rearranged his schedule and got our boy straight in for surgery. We didn't have to take him someplace else or wait another day. That was so nice. He had his appointment at 2pm then surgery shortly afterwards and we had him in our arms by 6:30. I'm so impressed with them. Also, we asked for a refill from a previous vet on some anxiety medicine for him. Dr. Baker was like, no problem. She told us to order it through Chewy since they didn't have it in stock and we needed it quickly for the fireworks coming in a few days. She said she would take care of it on her end and give authorization to Chewy when they called. The only thing I was kind of disappointed about was the tension at the front desk when we checked out. There could have been better customer service there. But overall we were happy with the service and the amount of care from the vets. Update: When we got home a few hours later, our dog was wincing in pain. We gave him some of the meds the doctor gave us but he still winced terribly. We had to take him to the ER and leave him overnight to get a slow drip of pain meds. Update -2 weeks later- Midnight is doing so well. He seems like he has gotten two years knocked off his age. He's getting around like a spring chicken. We went back to get stitches out and the staff was excellent. The front desk staff took time to talk to me about my dogs, and Dr. Baker met with me and discussed what we need to do for Midnight going forward. She wrote it all down for me so I could look over my options. I am very pleased and will return.

They became our favorite vet, hands down. Dr. Murray is kind, compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and so very friendly. Molly had an ear infection that just evaded diagnosis. Dr. Murray suggested that we send a sample to an outside lab. While that cost a little bit, it resulted in a specific diagnosis and treatment plan that kicked the infection immediately thereafter. More recently, Molly developed a bladder issue which we tried to treat for several months without success. Dr. Murray never pushed us to do anything, but was reasonable and explanatory all the way. She had a growth in her bladder which was not shrinking despite a few different treatment approaches, and at over 13 years old, we weren't going to subject her to surgery. When the very sad day came to evaluate end of life, Dr. Murray was out, and Dr. Webb guided us through the process - again with absolutely no pressure either direction. It's impossible to imagine anyone being more compassionate or understanding at such a difficult time. We don't have enough good things to say about her, as well as their vet tech (also Molly) that day. My wife and I still miss our little pup Molly (me especially). After it was over, Good Shepherd sent the nicest sympathy card signed by all their staff, along with two little sheets of paper with our Molly's front paw prints on them. What a beautiful thing to do. This review would not be complete without mention of the financial side. Veterinary medicine these days is not cheap! But Good Shepherd was very reasonable at all times. The cost of any extra check and the external labs was always made known to us beforehand. And Dr. Murray even called around to find the lowest cost option for a couple of medications! I believe their charges were more reasonable than any vet we've used before them. I notice their office has 5.0 stars on Google, for 33 ratings. There's a reason for that! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I made an appointment for all our animals as a new patient and they took all of the information I had for all three over the phone. appointment time came around and they had no idea who we were and were going to send us away until I showed them the confirmation for the appointment. they did not have my email for the animals history which I made vital that they were aware of. I asked the dr if he looked at the history that was provided to which he said yes. come to find out that it was only for one not the other one. I provided this information twice and it still wasn't considered. I made it clear before the appointment that I did not want any shots to be done early and since no one bothered to review one of my babies history then they did. it doesn't hurt them no, but I painstakingly for years offset their shots little by little to ensure it was spread out for financial reason. and all that effort was taken away due to squeezing us in from an office failure and failing to review the history and requests of me urging them to only give shots that are currently due. now they are on the same shot schedule bc one was given shots they didn't need several months sooner than what was needed. 2/10
