The lady at concessions was rushing us so it wasn't great customer service. They sell slushes in 2 flavors, red and blue, for $2. I tried the red flavor and it was refreshing, icy and liquidy, just the way I like it, not dry. For $3.50, the pretzel was soft, the cheese had a good texture and taste, and the size was perfect (not overwhelming). It was worth it. Another thing that's good at this concession is the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies. You get 2 for $1.50, and they are decadent mmm. Pizza is pretty basic and not worth it. The school is easy to find with a clear athletic entrance. Cash and card is accepted for the entrance fee, card is a little more around $8. The gym is large in size, lots of parking but got really packed during the sectional games and was hard to find a parking a spot. Upstairs bleachers has two large fans, we sat up there for a game, and the air from the fan really bothered me, caused my eyes to water badly, I was annoyed.

Very nice high school, though a little dated on the southside of Indianapolis. We were there for a…read morechoir state finals salon ensemble. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I've heard good things about the academics there. And the band program is great. Athletics have not been exceptionally strong over the years, but they do have certain players and teams that have done great things. Surprised that this is one of the few schools that hasn't gotten major renovations in the past few years seems as if a number of areas have been ignored while almost every other school in the greater Indianapolis area has been able to invest heavily in renovations and updates, it seems as if Perry Meridian has spent their money differently.

My son played a basketball game here during Perry's senior night, and it was a good experience. The…read moregym is large, with scoreboards on both sides and plenty of seating for attendees. The senior night area was thoughtfully set up and easy to see, which made the celebration feel special which is good for their students. Concessions were available, and there's a spacious parking lot, so getting in and out was simple. The atmosphere was lively, their school band was present. Our team ended up winning, which makes it much more of a better night. They provided a good venue for an exciting game.

I loved going to high school here. We're there problems, of course. But the jrotc program was the…read morebest there. There are days I miss being there, and I made so many amazing friends there, and had so much fun. This school gets a bad rap, but their was a lot more good than bad whenvi was there. I know the school is not the same now as it was when I went there from 04-08 but I just enjoyed this school a lot.
