We headed down by the water and spotted the brewery and grabbed two bar seats. Our bartender was named Katrina (sp?) and she was excellent - attentive and quick with orders. We stayed for a bit. They have a large inside seating area, outdoor seating area, and arcade nearer to the back. It is obviously a bit warm inside near the open garage style doors that overlook the water, but they have a large industrial fan that helps to keep the breeze going. It's a dive bar through and through but I happen to be a big fan of dive bars! However, this one fell flat on it's face with the service. I wouldn't say the place was packed but there were not any open seats at the bar. I posted up the best I could but for the better part of 15 minutes both bartenders didn't even come to my side of the bar. I then moved to the other side and waited another 10 minutes to be served (at which point the bartender said "Didn't I just serve you?" Um, no, you most definitely did not. This place has two saving graces: 1) A water jug full of cold water for the taking, off in the corner. Love that. 2) A popcorn machine that had DELICIOUS popcorn! YES. Everything was lukewarm, including the coffee that was self-serve and tasted old/bitter. Toast wasn't warm enough to melt the butter they added. Eggs were cooked perfectly (I always order over medium and 90% of the time they aren't cooked properly, so I was pleased with this). One waitress for the whole place and she was impressively efficient. If you're staying at the resort, it's a reasonable option for breakfast on your way out or a sandwich on your way back in for the day. Otherwise there are SO many great restaurant choices nearby.
