In fact, it was a little difficult finding a place to sit, but we did eventually find someplace. Yeah, this was actually a pretty cool cafe, and they made a rather nice pot of tea as well. The selections you get are pretty good as well, though as I mentioned, getting a good seat can be a little tricky at times, but they do make up with the service, and the tea of course.

All the locals know mains are just entrees with extra pasta and no sauce, but the service and quality has gone off a cliff. Atmosphere is friendly, comfortable and welcoming, we stayed for hours! Definitely check it out if you are indulging in some sweet sweet blue lake. It is decorated like an antique store, and has the potential to be fantastic. The menu is pretty basic, mainly paninis and doorstops - I had a chicken panini, which was served with a lot of salad - good value, but not exactly a taste sensation. While not completely blown away, our lunch was nice ... standard cafe fare. Would be greatly improved by playing some jazz music in the background instead of a generic mainstream radio station - while this place has potential, it kinda misses the mark.

However, I based my 2 stars on our coffee and hot chocolate order and probably wouldn't order from the menu given that experience. The coffee was drinkable but that's about it. It was watery and flavourless and if a Caffe can't impress me with their coffee I'm not willing to look further.
