So I bought a right for my daughter around $1800 that needed to be resized and I asked for engraving. All this was good. No issues. So why did they get the two star?? It all happened yesterday when I called to find out the status of the ring. It's been a week and no text or phone call. When I called they try to shift the blame on me accusing me of changing my idea and wanted engraving saying that was added on later date. I was like what????? Then come to find out they send my ring out to get hand engraved cuz their machine can't do it. That's ok. I get it. Things happen. The ring was made out of 10K white gold, which Mick, the jeweler, was happy about as it was easier to work with than silver. It all went downhill from there. After waiting to hear from them for two weeks, I started calling again. I called on April 27, June 5, June 6, June 7, June 8, June 9, and June 14 and left messages at each call but did not receive a response. I went into the store on June 16 and spoke with the owner. He said AT&T was having issues with their phones and to call him directly on his cell phone. The ring wasn't ready but it was "in progress." He said it would be a few more days and they'd call me when it was ready. Again, it kept rolling downhill. I called July 25 and left a message that I don't care if the ring was done or not, I was coming in to pick it up the next day to take it somewhere else. Mick called me back and said it would be finished by the end of business that day. I told him I'd be in Milton on July 26 at 10:00 a.m. I went to the store and Mick told me he'd need another 30 minutes. When I got the ring, it was too large, horrible craftsmanship, and the wrong metal. I paid the full $200.00, got in my car, burst into tears, and went home. I just left the Jewelers Trade Shop in Pensacola. They were horrified at the state of my ring. It requires half of the ring to be cut off because they cannot separate out the wrong metal that was used. I paid $245.00 for it to be fixed correctly. I cannot dissuade you from going to Santa Rosa Jewelers loud enough.

He comes out smelling like cigarettes and alcohol and apologizes, no big deal I thought. I proceed to explain to him about the watch and he starts cutting me off as he's examining the watch. I got a little surprised but kept cool, he gives me this story of how he has to order the battery that will take days to get. No problem I expected that but then he tells me how much it costs and that I'll have to leave the watch over night. I tell him due to the nature of my job I'm not sure how long I'll be in Milton so I can't leave it here. He proceeds to get angry and starts yelling at me how I'm wasting his time and I should go somewhere else since I'm being a "cheap ass". Immediately I got upset and told him to screw himself and walked away. I hope this isn't how he treats his other customers, hopefully he can learn to control his temper next time around.

I brought two pieces of jewelry here, a watch to be repaired and a wedding ring to be resized. After a over a week I still had not received word if either could be repaired/adjusted or price estimates for either. I called twice, both times I was told that they were busy and would call me right back with estimates but I never received calls back at which point I picked up my items and brought them to Bere's jewelry down the road, who quickly gave me an exact price and time to pick up my jewelry. This store seems to specialize in clocks and fails to give the time of day to other customers although they advertise doing so. Also, they do charge $25 just to look at your fixable items (which will be subtracted if paid to repair), but fortunately I did not have my items inspected after the 7-10 day time period, so that was avoided. Mr K. Thank you for reaching out and researching the case. However, the watch I dropped off was not LED or LCD, it was a Ferrari analog watch with a digital clock as well. If t was analyzed/inspected the employees at the front desk did not inform me of the case, they said it had not been looked at yet. The ring was also not sized as I did try it on and it it fit the same, and again I confirmed it with the employees at the front desk.
