I was wanting to get my Girlfriends car detailed for her birthday last month. However, the weather sucked. Since the weather is better, I contacted Travis Thursday and he was here bright and early this morning (Saturday). We *REALLY* wish we would have taken before and after pictures, because the car is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! My G/F has a 5 year old daughter, so the back seats were from a typical child in a car seat. The right rear floor mat had spilled Chili from 3 months ago, and the outside of the vehicle had tar on it from typical road rash. ALL OF WHICH ARE GONE!!! When we have Travis back over to do another detail of her car, we will definitely take before and after pictures. The pictures that are attached do NOT do the job they did justice! Working with this business from start to finish has been an AMAZING experience. Nicole and Travis are the best people! I prefer text over calling and Nicole was extremely friendly and responds super quick! I am ashamed at how gross my truck was but Nicole put me at ease and I had 0 shame or anxiety walking into my appointment. I met Travis when I dropped my truck off for my scheduled detail. The first thing he asked me was if I needed a shuttle back home. As I live 15 minutes away, I was extremely grateful for not having to purchase an Uber. I submitted a request for a quote on a detailing service for my F150 on Yelp after a 1000+ mile road trip that included lots of bad weather and a couple of dirty dogs! However my wife and I went with Travis and OCDetail not because he was the least expensive (although his pricing was good!) but because the passion he shows for his work really came through in our conversations and in the finished product. This team came in clutch fixing an absolute disaster of a detail from another mobile company. OCDetail went above and beyond and never even asked for a penny. He fixed a big issue on one panel where someone improperly attached emblems. And then he fixed multiple scuffs/scratches that were missed by the other company. And THEN put his ceramic coating on as well. He even gave me a bottle of glass coating and pad to do myself. Very very nice guy. Came out to my house multiple times to fix the issues. ABSOLUTE WORSE DETAILING SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. Where do I even start.... Firstly, they came out and we had trouble locating an outlet outside (im at apartments) , no biggie, they said they'd come back the next day with a generator. They come back and they let me know they didn't bring a generator.. at this point I'm like hm ok. I then had the idea of asking the manager inside the leasing office if I could use their power outlets, they said sure. The worker tried multiple outlets, including the outlets powering my managers computer, and the vacuum is not turning on. The worker says it must be the vacuum, I say ok, just get what you can done. He assures me he can "hand vacuum" my car.. at this point I'm mainly concerned about the shampooing of my seats so I say okay since he already is halfway done. (Mind you, my car was not that dirty to begin with. I spilled a coffee on my passenger seat and I had a spill on my back seat so that was my main concern. My car is brand name, this should've been an easy detailing job)a He finishes and I call his manager to see if I can get some of the cost cut bc I notice a lot of crumbs on my seats and floor, AND I notice the dash is not clean... just quickly wiped down. The manager says it's free, and I give the workers $40 for the trouble bc I feel bad. 5 minutes later the worker lets me know his manager actually wants $100 (the initial service was $120 plus $25 for driving to me). I am not one to haggle and HATE arguing about prices but when I asked the worker why there were still stains on my seats he said they need to "dry" . Look at the pics, this is the final product of their interior "detailing" service. My seats look the SAME. The dash is somewhat shiny from the polish, but it is barely cleaned and definitely not "detailed". The manager then texts me and tells me it is my "fault" that they couldn't use their vacuum and that bc of this he is gonna get my info and file a claim. He also wants to get the leasing office involved (????) When I told him I'm not paying for this service he threatens me to go to court and claims he is an "electrician" and can prove there was in fact no power inside the leasing office and that it's not their fault the vacuum wasn't working. He claims I knew they needed an outlet (YET THEY CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY BC I HAD NO OUTLETS) and that bc of this I need to pay. So on top of not doing half the job they said they would, the "half" of the job they DID do was terrible. Unprofessional and terrible service, AVOID THEM. read more

I took advantage of a half-price special that OC Detail was running thru the Vistancia Car Club for a 3-year ceramic coating on my Bumblee Camaro. However, once I realized where their shop was located, I attempted to cancel the appointment because it was really inconvenient for me. Travis told me that they could do the service in my driveway, but do charge a bit extra for that. After a couple of scheduling issues on their part (family emergencies), two older men showed up (one using a cane that could barely move around). They didn't even wash my car before applying the coating! I was under the weather and laying on the couch, not able to watch what they were doing. They left with my check after only an hour and a half. I was a bit surprised, but pulled the car back into the garage and went to bed. Once I realized what had happened, I complained and Travis offered to re-do the service. After several scheduling issues on their part (again, family issues), they came back: Travis, one of the same men, and a younger guy. They spent hours and hours rubbing and rubbing and rubbing on my car (after first washing it this time), along with trying to sell me additional services. When they were done, I pulled Bee back into the garage. Over the next couple of days, I noticed some smudges and hand prints, but assumed (erroneously) that they would come off when I washed the car - that it was only dirt that had settled. The coating that was done 3 years ago by another provider had none of these issues. I was told not to touch it or wash it for at least 24 hours, which instructions I followed. I actually didn't feel the need to wash it for over a month because I don't go out that much. The hand prints and smudges did not come off. They are embedded in the coating, and there are rough patches where the coating was obviously not applied properly. I took the car to the previous place I had used 3 years ago. After looking it over, they said those issues cannot be solved without removing the coating and re-applying it. I contacted OC Detail to request my money back so I can make things right. I don't want these guys touching my car again. I can't take my car to any shows because I'm absolutely embarrassed by the way the finish looks, and there's nothing I can do about it but pay someone else to make it right (on top of what I paid OC Detail to screw it up). OC Detail has been completely unresponsive to my four messages left earlier this week. Not even an FU. Nothing. The lesson: don't stray from a service provider that you know does the job right, despite any discounts being offered by others. AND: a ceramic coating should NEVER be applied as a mobile service (something that a professional should know)! read more

OCDetail AZ did an amazing job on my 2020 Toyota Rav 4. I have two dogs, husky and German Shepard, and Travis was able to get all the dog hair out. I had just recently went on a a dispersed camping trip with the two dogs plus us so the car was filthy. I only got the interior details and the pricing was so good compared to everywhere else that's quoted me!! He even washed the outside of my car when I did not ask. OCDetail was the first to respond to my quote request and after reviewing the other quotes, I scheduled with them since I needed the convenience of doing the interior only detail at my house. One team member showed up and worked on the car, then after about 1-2 hours, left to go to another job and brought back two other team members to finish up the job. Initially, I thought the job was good, but after sitting in the passenger seat, I could see many missed spots on the dashboard, windows more dirty than before the appointment, chemical spray spots on various dashboard instrument screens, and heavy hand gunk on the turn signal lever. I contacted the office with my concerns. The owner called me back and wanted to make it right, but wanted me to come to their location to do this for free. I few days later, I went to the location (almost an hour drivetime round trip), showed the owner issues, and waited in their waiting room. The owner then left me there (never returned) while someone in the garage worked on the car. They were able to clean more of the spots from the backseat and the carpet mats. Then when they said everything was good, I started to back out and the sunlight showed that the windows and instrument panel were still dirty. So I left the car in that position, went back in, and got the technician who gladly came out to fix the problems. On the drive home, there was still cloudy smears on the windows and instrument panel. I will clean it myself at this point. I appreciate the owner wanting to make it right, but it defeated the purpose of having the job done at my home in the first place.
