When we told them about the issue, they said they would fix it. They sent the carpet layer back with NO supplies to repaint the base. We had to provide all of the supplies: paint brush, paint, floor covering, etc. As a person in the construction industry, I know how long it should have taken to repaint the baseboards. He was there for approximately an hour. When we came back to inspect the work, it looked as if the person used his fingers to fill the damaged areas, instead of painting the entire board. We called to complain. They sent the same man back to try again. He did the same thing again, but this time he left hand prints on our freshly painted walls. We called his boss to explain the issue AGAIN. We had to bring in and pay an actual painter to fix the problem. Carpet Barn would not help us with this cost. We will NOT use this company again and DO NOT recommend them.

Mr. Edwin the professional painter did just that. He made my bathroom and closet look seamless. If you came to my property you will not find any debris that indicated work was done. After getting the runaround with some other local companies, I found Lamar online. I called and they answered on the first ring and then showed up ON TIME that same day to give me a quote which was very fair. The communication is top notch - their automated system sends a text message when they are on their way - and every phone call you speak directly to the owner who will be doing your cleaning. I was very impressed with the care they took in cleaning our carpet. The furniture was moved and put on small styrofoam blocks and the 30+ year old carpet looked great once they were finished. I saw that they also offered dryer vent cleaning using a suction system and reluctantly had them do this for us, though I wasn't convinced it was necessary. They sent a video of the process and the incredible amount of lint that was pulled out of the vent - no wonder there are so many vent fires! I am so glad I added the dryer vent cleanout to the service. All in all a fantastic experience working with Lamar and I would recommend them to anyone.
