My mother visited Southern Immediate Care (McClellan) on August 3, 2025, and according to her (I was not present), service there is HORRIFIC (possibly the same at Stringfellow)! The nurse practitioner on duty at that location did NOT care to treat her illness at that time, and was VERY UNHELPFUL! We'll NEVER visit ANY Southern Immediate Care location EVER again! Unless you have no other option avoid this place. We have used them several times and generally they will give you some sort of shot and then be vague about what's wrong. The last time they said they were calling in antibiotics but when we got to the pharmacy it was over the counter allergy medicine. Very poor quality of care. read more

They refused to change a medication out for my son that would not tolerate the medication. They stated "they were not comfortable doing so." Sounds like laziness and incompetence on their parts. The care of that they provided was trash as well. Very poor performance. read more

I have never met such incompetent fools ! I bought my son in to get checked and I am very concerned. First my child was seen by a NP who was very combative and argumentative. She wanted to swab and do panels that would take 24 hrs and leave my child without any type of antibiotics. She wanted to do this with out consulting me first . I truly believe believe she was making a false attempt to swab my toddler for Covid -19 . This NP isn't even allowed to write a script . This NP is a white women with short Black hair and I want her fired and removed from her position . This mother is enraged this women was going to attempt to swab my child with out my consent then leave my child un medicate with out antibiotics. We will not be back if this is the way my child will be treated or a parent disrespected read more

I had to wait a LONG time to see the CNPR, Matthew. But it was worth the wait. Not only did he diagnose the infection in my recent Knee Replacement incision, but he followed up with a call to my Orthopedic Surgeon and a call to me, to see how I was doing. 5 STAR rating for care and follow up. Unfortunately, I had to wait 3 1/2 hrs to be seen. But the waiting room was full. read more

I would not recommend coming here. I had fluid in my ear. I was having pain in both ears was told to take Advil. They didn't even try send anythMing to the pharmacy. On top of that I waited 7 hours just to be seen. They were more worried about COVID patients. In that case they should just do COVID testing and not see pa for anything else if they are not going to even try and help. read more

don't believe their listing online-- they are not open until 10.00 pm. i called because i had to make sure my insurance card was on file because i had lost my wallet and did not have a copy. i had to call ten times to get an answer, and was then put on hold. i called just before 800 pm. when i finally got a person to answer, they put me on hold again to see about whether they had my card on file. when they finally came back to the phone, they told me that they did have a copy of my card and ID. i told them i would be right there and they said they closed at 800 pm. i told them i was headed there RIGHT THEN and then barely made it at 758. they had already locked the doors! i knocked loudly and a woman came out to tell me they had alreasdy seen 80 patients that day and were not seeing any more. they had locked the doors in case i made it on time! i was told that the place was owned by Dr Jason Junkins and that this was who i should complain to about their intentional barring me from getting medical care that day. so, their advertised time is wrong. they intentionally closed the doors to keep me out because they were simply done for the day. this is the same urgent care that during the COVID scare diagnosed me with a sinus infection and then failed to call any medication in for 2 days, and they did that only after i called them repeatedly to see what i shoud do about the sinus infection, they had simply filed my case away without calling in the meds that were noted in the chart. i will call Dr Junkins in the morning and let him know about this intentional refusal of medical care. maybe he wants his place to run better than it does. he could start by posting the correct hours online-- i stayed at work as long as i could and looked up the hours before calling them. i called them when my hand was hurting badly enough that i needed to be seen, but had they posted the correct hours, i would have gotten off earlier. but the thing is-- I DID GET THERE ON TIME! BUT THEY LOVKED THE DOORS ON ME BECAUSE I TOLD THEM I WAS COMING! read more
