Our 14-year-old unit was…read morelow/leaking Freon, and rather than Band-Aid it, I figured it was a good idea to replace it now instead of waiting for a summer emergency. Kelvin was very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and laying out options from good, better, and best. Ultimately, we selected something in the Lennox Elite line. I did a fair bit of research, and it seems the Lennox products are some of the most reliable and they pair their brand with good installers. Our install date was set for about a week out from when we selected our system. We also qualified for 12 months 0% financing which I appreciated. Amanda was very helpful on the phone to get us setup with our financing options--they have a bunch of different ones. Communication was great in advance of our install date, too; they called the day before to confirm. I also wanted to upgrade both of our thermostats because we had basic, non-programmable ones that worked off mercury. Our new setup is digital, programmable, and accessible over WiFi through an app on my phone. This was an important feature for me, and I'm appreciative we found a way to make it work. The crew showed up shortly after 8 a.m. and was finished by 11! It was all-hands-on-deck when we had four trucks here at once. The guys were all courteous and friendly. They did a thorough, neat job, and didn't cut any corners. They added things like float switches and access points to clean the drain lines. Our thermostats are neatly installed, and they took time to show me how to work them. All the old equipment was hauled away; they initially forgot a piece that had been set aside in our attic, but they came right back to take it away. Now it's only February, and it's only been a few hours, but the new system certainly looks nicer outside and was noticeably quieter during the testing time we had it running. I hope to squeeze a little more life out of our downstairs system, but I won't hesitate to call Oak Grove H&AC when it's time.

The lady who answered was great and said they had an opening pop up this morning! I kid you not, the technician was ringing our doorbell 10 minutes later. Turns out the overflow pan up in the attic had filled and the drain line was clogged. The technician was nice, answered every question and the invoice was extremely reasonable! These are some nice people and deserve all the business they can handle.

I appreciate the…read morefact that they came out to my house to check out my old system, however, I was charged $135 to basically be told there's nothing they could do, except try to sell me an entire new unit or try very hard to attempt to locate the part I needed, which would be difficult due to the age of the unit itself. The next day, I asked someone else to come check it out, and not only did he diagnose and identify the problem within about 10 minutes, he replaced the part with one already on his truck, and had my A/C working again in less than an hour. The guys from Bennett literally just shut off my power 3 or 4 times, gawked at the age of my (admittedly old) unit, and then charged me FAR more than their house call was worth. Never again. That's what you get for trusting in the integrity of folks I suppose. Glad your business made a few bucks off of this struggling single mom!
