It's a place you can go and hang out and do some crocheting or knitting, have a cup of tea, and simply relax with good company. I loved it for several reasons: (1) how organized this shop was; (2) how helpful, cordial, informative, welcoming and friendly the owner Stacey was; (3) the way the shop itself was layed-out; (4) the fact that art classes are offered from time to time; and (5) it felt like I was sitting there painting with a room full of friends - THAT'S WHAT I ENJOYED THE MOST. The widely varied choice of pieces, and the simplified paint palette offered with some specialty paints made it easy for me to come up with ideas. WE HAVE NOTHING AT ALL LIKE THIS IN MARIETTA. I really enjoyed this experience and will go back frequently with more friends and family.

That being said- there wasn't any pottery design or item in the shop that I hadn't seen some version in other shops. I love pottery, I miss throwing my own pottery- so until I have my own wheel and kiln, I buy from other artists. I picked up a lovely bowl today and will have to take a picture of the bowl to share. I did circle the room 3x before I finally spotted my purchase. I found gorgeous plates I loved, platters, mugs... you name it. But nothing had really struck me until I found the bowl with a gorgeous spiral inside. This is art- and priced as such. People underestimate how much time, labor and love going into handmade pottery. Not to mention pieces that break, flop on the wheel and random mess ups with glaze. Appreciate the artistry.

Tons of wax melts and candles if you are into those types of things. Wax melts had a bunch of scents I had never seen anywhere else before. Prices throughout the store seemed to be fair and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We actually ended up getting a bunch of Christmas presents, so thanks Bleu River for that. From the very beginning, Jaclyn was quick to respond to my messages and emails about party information and details. She made sure all the party guests were registered and had selected their own projects. I was very impressed with her communication skills and willingness to help! After we arrived, the staff at AR quickly went to work, helping me get our balloons, cake and snacks set up! The project supplies were already organized and set up. I was quickly able to relax, walk around and snap pictures of the party! I've never had so much freedom to enjoy myself at one of our parties! The Staff took care of absolutely EVERYTHING! AR workshop's staff of Avery, Pam, and Annika were very attentive and helpful to every participant! Even the owner, LuAnn, was hands-on, making sure everything went smoothly!
