I broke my humerus in 2 places on 1/29/23, so the upper bone in my arm was in 3 pieces. I went to Kyle Swanson and he saw me for 5 minutes and then had his tech put on a brace that didn't even cover the injury AND it cut off my circulation so dramatically that my hand doubled in size. I called the office several times because I was scared it was compartment syndrome. I left several messages saying that this was an emergency but they didn't answer or call me back. I had to go to the ER to find out it was his brace that had caused all of the swelling and it could have even further damage. Three days after visiting the ER, they STILL hadn't called back to see if I was in trouble. I had to call THEM. The girl said the office had been busy, and it's honestly alarming that they took on more patients than they could responsibly handle. I'm sure it creates a lot of profit but that's not how you treat people with serious injuries. I've never been so dangerously ignored by a doctor in my life. This office feels no responsibility for the well being of their patients and their care is horrendous. 2/19/24 UPDATE: Anne, from their billing department, just called me and told me that I wasn't justified in leaving this review. Nothing about this review is untrue and the fact that they would call me a year later to debate me is UNREAL. I needed their help a long time ago. BOTH the ER doc and my new doc confirmed that the brace Kyle Swanson HAD HIS TECH put on was actually making my arm worse. Also, Anne said I can't expect that they would call me back in two hours so I would have had to go to the ER doc anyway. Except, if he actually knew what he was doing in the first place I wouldn't have had to go to the ER because it was THE BRACE HE PUT ON that created the subsequent issues. I am truly blown away by the incompetence and callousness of this office. They gave me terrible care, didn't listen to my concerns, and now they are debating their own horrible practices with a patient that desperately needed help. PSA: Go anywhere else

Today I'm walking again, never will be 100% again but I have my freedom, I have my life back and he is the one I thank everyday!!! I recommend him highly

I showed up and they still had the time wrong. Dr. Child offered no help. It felt his ego came in to play and said well you went for surgery somewhere else so follow up there vs how can we help. I won't ever go back. It's really unfortunate that our small town has such a bad rep. Dr. Childs negligence is dangerous but gee, thanks for the referral.

He listened to what I had to say and made his recommendations based on the history I explained to him. Also, he took x-rays and explained to me his opinion as to what the x-rays were telling him. Dr. Ryan is very competent and confident in his expertise diagnosing what is going on with my ankle issues. I would recommend Dr. Ryan to anyone that is experiencing problems with their feet and ankles.

I've experienced the worst experience in my life from Carson Valley health system. Especially the…read morehospital.! I can't believe I showed up for an emergency and there was no doctors available. They had to make a call for a doctor to come to the hospital on-call doctors at an emergency room. I've never heard of such a thing.? Extremely rude nurses and doctor specially the female doctor that told me my cancer is nothing we get those all the time . I went into the hospital because my organs were going in the compulsions my body was not cooperating and then I get in a room and I've got five nurses in my head asking me what's going on I told them talk to my wife. They said no we need to speak to you. I said I can't speak to you. I don't know what's going on. I'm confused. I'm irritated. Please talk to my wife they refuse. I had my walking came in my right hand, resting my right shoulder on the Cane as they were on the left yelling in my ear, and they would not release their voices from disturbing me. Instead, they kept antagonizing me where I threw my cane in the corner, hitting the toilet 5 feet away. There's a lot more to this, but what I really don't appreciate. Is that my chart nonsense they right. They don't write about your diagnosis or any of that important stuff. No day right negative nonsense. I can't believe they said that I threw things plural things.. if I was pulling things off the shelf or wherever and just throwing it like a crazy person really!! And then they called security for no reason at all. I've never experienced security. I'm a senior citizen unbelievable. My wife won't even go to the doctors now because of the experience I have a receipt that she had witness. Because of this terrible medical system in Gardnerville, minden , Nevada . So I don't know how to say it in case Emergency go to that hospital otherwise don't I can't say that because mine was an emergency and then they tell me it's not an emergency between Gardnerville hospital and the Carson Tahoe hospital. They both are the worst hospitals.. well that sucks for senior citizen that were a lot of doctors to help them opposed to us telling the doctors what to do because there's no doctors there and if there is a physician, , their nurse practitioners ! Not doctors!!! And that's the way this whole northern Nevada is that I ever experienced lack of doctors. It's terrible.. I have so much to say over my 11 1/2 year cancer journey that I've never experienced remission nothing but judgment, hatred comments. No support just disturbance. It's terrible and I want to know this and record everything., and I mean everything it's legal in Nevada ,to report without asking. Because if you do ask, they're gonna hide their behavior but then again they're so loose they most likely overlooked the cameras and continue their professional behavior..
