I don't ever leave bad reviews, but I would like to protect others from this doctor... DONT TRUST THIS DOCTOR WITH YOUR CARE. I broke my humerus in 2 places on 1/29/23, so the upper bone in my arm was in 3 pieces. I went to Kyle Swanson and he saw me for 5 minutes and then had his tech put on a brace that didn't even cover the injury AND it cut off my circulation so dramatically that my hand doubled in size. I called the office several times because I was scared it was compartment syndrome. I left several messages saying that this was an emergency but they didn't answer or call me back. I had to go to the ER to find out it was his brace that had caused all of the swelling and it could have even further damage. Three days after visiting the ER, they STILL hadn't called back to see if I was in trouble. I had to call THEM. The girl said the office had been busy, and it's honestly alarming that they took on more patients than they could responsibly handle. I'm sure it creates a lot of profit but that's not how you treat people with serious injuries. I've never been so dangerously ignored by a doctor in my life. This office feels no responsibility for the well being of their patients and their care is horrendous. 2/19/24 UPDATE: Anne, from their billing department, just called me and told me that I wasn't justified in leaving this review. Nothing about this review is untrue and the fact that they would call me a year later to debate me is UNREAL. I needed their help a long time ago. BOTH the ER doc and my new doc confirmed that the brace Kyle Swanson HAD HIS TECH put on was actually making my arm worse. Also, Anne said I can't expect that they would call me back in two hours so I would have had to go to the ER doc anyway. Except, if he actually knew what he was doing in the first place I wouldn't have had to go to the ER because it was THE BRACE HE PUT ON that created the subsequent issues. I am truly blown away by the incompetence and callousness of this office. They gave me terrible care, didn't listen to my concerns, and now they are debating their own horrible practices with a patient that desperately needed help. PSA: Go anywhere else read more

Dr. Swanson is AMAZING!!! Simply put. I had a total of 7 knee surgeries, he had me back to hiking and billing after my 5th surgery, then I took a terrible fall at work one morning and destroyed my knee, after fighting work comp and going through a surgery with another Dr work comp sent me to the made matters worse, I went back to Dr Swanson he was able to get my TKR approved (after fighting work comp for 3 years). Today I'm walking again, never will be 100% again but I have my freedom, I have my life back and he is the one I thank everyday!!! I recommend him highly read more

I am so grateful to have Dr Swanson in our lives. My 15 year old son (he is now 26 years old) has a bone disease and his femur spontaneously snapped while he was running. It was a Friday night and I still Thank God that Dr Swanson was on call. He was so patient and calm with me (an extremely scared single parent). It is now 11 years later and we still see Dr Swanson for any problems related to my son's pain and bone deformities. Little did I know when my son was treated by Dr Swanson's father (The honorable Keith Swanson, MD), when he was in his early teens that his son, Dr Kyle Swanson would remain in our lives for years. I have seen Dr Kyle Swanson come home from his vacation early because he was worried about one of his patients. Who does that??? Broke my tib/fib in Dec 2016. Dr. Swanson got me in quickly and performed the ankle surgery (8 screws & a plate). Always professional and courteous as is his entire staff. I am ahead of schedule in my rehab and cannot thank Dr. Swanson enough for getting me back on the road to recovery. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Kyle Swanson did a fabulous job on my total knee replacement. This was the first utterly smooth surgical experience I've ever had. I had my surgery on 1/20/2020. I did the recommended 4 physical therapy sessions before my surgery and I healed incredibly fast. It probably helped that I followed all of the doctor and physical therapist's directions to the letter. My post surgical pain level was almost less after my surgery than before. I only required prescription pain meds for 4 days, after that ibuprofen did the trick. I have several drug allergies and Dr Swanson handled it perfectly. Dr. Swanson and his staff are friendly and professional. I want to give a special thank you to Dr Swanson for taking away my painful crunchy knee. I've been able to be much more active so I've even lost a good amount of weight. I think it's pretty great that he's a veteran too. Michael and Dottie are remarkable too. I think we are lucky to have a doctor like him in this area. read more

Fantastic Doctor! He truly cares about you as a person. He saved my arm. I fractured it in six different places and could feel my bones moving while on the way to the ER. He talked to me in pre-op and looked at me directly in the eyes and made me feel like I was truly in good hands. He even took a picture of the surgery for me because I asked! Now, I'm in San Diego recovering, but I'll never go to another Orthopedic Doctor. I'd rather fly out to see Dr. Swanson. read more
