Well it was canceled and the automated message said alternate transport would be provided. No one came to tell us what that meant so I ran across the tracks to find a worker and ask just for him to tell me I already missed the connection. I was then stranded for 5 hours because my phone was dead. They offered a voucher for Uber but no phone so no voucher. I finally ended up getting home from riverside at 7pm I contacted metro link just for them to tell me theres nothing they can do to compensate me for this terrible experience. However, the bus departed nine minutes earlier. I tried to use all my three credit cards for purchasing Metrolink ticket on the Metrolink APP, all of them were failed(maybe it won's accept foreign cards), so I had to spend $2 for the bus fare(my $2 Thomas Jefferson note was gone). You don't have to pay $2 if you show your Metrolink ticket. I arrived there around 17:45, June 28, 2026, perfect timing for the 18:04 train bound to Los Angeles Union Station. Make sure you go to the correct track since nobody is on duty. The station and the train looked clean and safe. Enjoy the cool and with plenty sunshine in southern California.

Located an actual hop or so from San Manuel Stadium, home of the IE's 66ers (minor league baseball team) and many plaza or shopping center hubs in DTS Bernardino. Restrooms (also on the Metrolink trains), maps, paths, benches, kiosks, bike locker and racks being the top amenities. Not to mention connections to local metro busses, shuttles, rideshare and routes including the Metrolink Arrow which is the extension and goes as far as Redlands University. You can always find Metrolink staff and/or security not far away with helpful need to know information. Traveling through on a weekend there was a little bit of consistent rain and not as many places to wait it out between Metrolink arrivals or departures as they run way less frequently on Saturdays and Sundays, more so after 3pm. This Metrolink station is close to Woodcrest, Riverside Val Verde of Perris and other commuters from local cities. I look forward to the second track being put down at this station to create a frequent schedule of trains servicing the Moreno Valley area for the Los Angeles Olympics 2028. If you ride the bus the Riverside Transit System, Bus Route 20 includes the Metrolink station.

The trackside area is clean and the platform can fit many people at once and there is a large parking lot that can fit cars. Additionally if people want to park on Camino Capistrano (the street along the tracks) they have that option as well. The only wish I have is that this becomes an Amtrak station stop like Irvine and San Juan Capistrano as I think it would allow even more people to travel across the state from MV rather than be limited to just Metrolink. The Amtrak trains pass by us anyways so why not just build a tiny building trackside in the ample space that's currently being used for construction materials for an unrelated project and make it an Amtrak stop.
