Was told that my diesel 2017 F250 needed $4000 worth in repairs…read more 1- low pressure fuel warning and engine light. Was told that the some fuel pump needed replaced. After the check engine line was cleared I have not had the problem in 2 months. Safe to say this was not a needed repair. But a scam from Hellmans. 2- Upper oil pan engine leak. This I was told was 17 hours of labor at $120 an hour NOT to mention the parts. Took the truck to Garys Garage. He cleaned and troubleshooted for $200 found two loose nuts on the LOWER oil pan and tightened. Has not leaked since. So $4000 potential repair bill cost be $200 plus sales tax at Garys Garage. Where will you take your vehicle for repairs? I guess you can take it to Hellman's if you like getting ripped off.

We were in Delta for my oncology appointment, and I simply could not resist stopping here to take…read morephotos. We weren't in the market for a vehicle and no one came out to thank you to sell us anything, but I'm pretty sure that's because it was pretty obvious that we were "tourists" of sorts, snapping away with our phones and cameras alike. The cars are awesome! Most of them have bodies in reasonably good shape although they could use a coat of paint and probably some work. I kind of think that is the point, though. They sell antique project vehicles for people who want to do something fun that they can be proud of. I have never seen a car lot with a niche quite like this one, and I think the concept is very cool. I appreciated that they didn't come out and try to chase us off the lot. There is also an overflow lot across the street with lots more cool vehicles, mostly trucks, to check out. I would recommend this as a stop if you are in Delta and appreciate things from times past. It made me feel a sense of nostalgia, even though I was born long after most of these cars were manufactured. It was like a very cool trip through history for twenty minutes. :)

I live in Denver so the 5 hour drive didn't sound like the best way to spend my weekend. We discussed shipping the truck and found the cheapest option but the process was going to take longer than I wanted. So after talking with Ricardo about it, he told me he would drive the truck and meet me halfway. Before committing to the truck he facetimed me and showed me all of the areas of concern so that we wouldn't be wasting each others time if there was a problem I couldn't look past. She pulled a technician to give quick estimate as they were both installing an RV windshield. Offered us a seat, and estimated short wait. 30 min later technician worked some magic and big mark was nearly gone. $55. Nice work and quick. Back on road in an hour.
