I was attack on the blue line last by a 51/50, who hit my face with 2 wooden sticks. Well the blue driver did nothimg, I will handle that today! There was a MTA guy on my train who was calling 911 to get me help. The reason I did not fight back was she was far gone in the head and to me that would of been unfair. Then she got off and so did I, no way in hell was I going to let her just get away with assulting me. I got off and she got off I called 911 to report the incident. Then she tried to walk off I followed at a safe distance to be able to inform the Sheriffs of her were abouts, she then proceeds to attack to more people? I see the Sheriffs and yell at them she over there fon't let her get away. Then after telling what took place they asked me what do I want to do? I said I will make a citizens arrest, they had her in the patrol car. Now she was arrested for AWD and it is not the first time. Plus, she is on Probation for the exact same thing? Horrible service. Never come out to fix issues with street traffic, donuts. They never have an officer just circle the area on weekends even though every single weekend there are people that do donuts at the same exact time. Completely unhelpful. If I didn't have to give this place, one star, I wouldn't. Lawndale sheriff department came to my house last night at nine thirtyish saying that they got a call that a kid was attacking his little sisters and parents. When they came to my household, I was trying to get information from them but didn't quite get all of the information as to where this call initiated. As I tried to call Lawndale sheriff department this morning, there was a very rude receptionist, who answered the phone. as I was asking for information, she started talking to me as though I had a mental issue. When I told her I am not slow ma'am I just needed you to repeat what she said. She cut me off and said oh well and hung up on me. I tried to call back three times, but because the police have caller ID, they could see it was me, and she would not answer. I am going to wait eight hours and call back because I know she will not be working that long and I will report her. If citizens can't call the police or the sheriff department and get some respect. What are we supposed to do? you need to seriously reconsider who you have answering the phones because that was extremely rude and if you're not having a good day, just don't come to work because the people who call the police or the sheriff need help and need understanding. read more

Going to the sheriffs station isn't my idea of a good time, especially when it's to deal with ID theft. Howev's, this brand spankin new sheriffs station placed smack in the middle of the hood was surprisingly clean, updated and the police officers (male & female) were friendly. None of them had the chip on their shoulder attitude that I seem to encounter ohhhh about once every 4-5 years upon receiving a moving violation. Nice to know some officers are actually there to serve the public with a smile! Sounds sappy but, I was grateful they were helpful and friendly, it made dealing with a really funky situation, not so terrible. read more

Took them almost a month to get a police report and cost me like $35. The light was extreme dim at night and doesn't safe neighborhood despite is a Sheriff station. There no where to park for visitor. Instead you has to park resident area when is clearly like you might get robbed there. Staff here are not professional and take forever, really didn't like the amount of the time I had to wait to get my report. Police report is not always gonna be in your side, since the opposite party can denies since is after of what it happend, unless there's video footage or eyewitness. Get yourself a dash cam and most important a good reliable auto insurance not a small one because a lot of time they don't bother to fight the big boy. read more

I am new to LA so when i have free time I drive around and listen to music and try to learn the area a bit before i start driving for uber. Now, I was stopped at a red light when an officer sped up very quickly clearly trying to intimidate me. I dont do no illegal shit so I was a bit amused and confused at first. Then the officer rolled down his window and suddenly and violently jerked his head out to try and spook me or something? I saw deep hatred in his eyes it was all very childish and immature and so i had figured he was just a boy at heart playing games at the light or something tryna be funny. When the light turned green he had turned right and I had kept going straight and then an older looking sheriff turned behind me for a bit and it seemed to be coincidence because of how quick he had turned away as well but that had me thinking they were working together to try and provoke me and set me up for something violent that they were starting by putting that energy out. I cannot be entrapped because i follow the law so this is very annoying. I have been seeing visions of the his face and the resemblance of the faces of black panther killers i have seen in documentaries about this kind of stuff. I would like for someone to get in contact with me and allow me to come in and identify the officer so that I may file a restraining order against him, as now I am forever fearful of my life being threatened at home from a cop who just does not care about rules or respect. I will not be harassed again and I expect a formal and public apology by the police officer from the red light and demand an immediate suspension and investigation of all his activities. I was told i had to come to this location to report an act of vandalism that occurred earlier in the day. I gave the deputy the location of the incident over the phone and everything. The deputy told me to come into their location. Inglewood PD told me to come into this location to fill out a report regarding the incident so i finally found this police station and the elderly lady at the front desk takes all my personal information at the front desk (only to keep it for her own personal use???)Then the elderly lady tells me I'm at the wrong station. Then the deputy i talked to on the phone comes out and says, "Yeah sorry, I made a mistake." Watch commanders, HR and training officers, please train your deputies to give correct information to victims. Please make sure they have the correct knowledge, intelligence and training they need to do their jobs otherwise they're just adding to an already frustrating and out of control situation. Awful! I went on 2017, but check the cameras for the first fact dates of visits, but it took almost 12 months to get the report in. I am so disappointed because I am going to join their field, and all the guys are so slow! I had to bring a manager/a man to get the report. The stupid fat guy who first helped me is a waste of life. I had cried to this fatty undeserving cop, who didn't even help me. However sheriff Savala helped right around Christmas. They really need t fix their ratings! I plan to sue the Los Angeles Sherriffs, but it's not worth it. My god help them do their job right! It's a shame I couldn't get this fat guy's name, I would've reported him too and taken him to court. Jesus Christ help them change! Disrespectful, civil rights violation, and accusing me of lying.
