The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made both of us feel comfortable during our visit. My cat emergency was attended to with the highest level of professionalism and consideration. My cat has a history of UTI due to poor water ingestion and dry food. He's not easy to care for due to his lifestyle, which is in and out. Im very grateful for the care and consideration these doctors have shown me. Every case is different, and there might be a case where the client expects a result that is not delivered due to lack of chemistry between client and provider.After my experience with this team I highly doubt any case that requires the utmost care and urgency might be left unsatisfied. I am so pleased with the service I received here. I had an emergency with my cat and am always skeptical of where to take them because cats are not always handled properly. That was not the case here, my cat was treated so kindly and gently they made me feel like they genuinely cared about helping her and healing her. You can tell they're pet parents and want to help. I took my dog here because she had a cut, she's been going here since she was a puppy, along with our other 3 dogs. We have never had any a complains until this past Tuesday that we took her for them to take care of a cut she got. As soon as she got the cut we bandaged it to stop the bleeding, which I believe is common knowledge to do that when you see someone human or animal bleeding. When we take her to the vet they take off the bandage to examine, gave us the price for services, which we declined as we decided to go with another vet as they wanted to used general anesthesia which we did not feel comfortable with, since we had gotten second opinions saying that local would work fine as the wound was on her leg. We got charged 75$ for the consult, and they did provide first aid care to my dog. They sent my dog home with her open wound, did not even bother to at least bandage again or at least use the same bandage that we had on for her. When we took her to the other vet they told us that if it wasn't for me and my family that bandage her wound she could have bleed out. I find it crazy that they sent my dog back home with an open wound when they had received her with a bandage on, knowing as veterinarians and vet assistants there was a possibility of bleeding out. I reached out to them about this bad experience for which all I got was a " if the price was the problem we could have talked it out" which the price was never the problem. Thankfully we found help somewhere else and my dog is doing great but not thanks to south Florida pet emergency as they couldn't even provide a bandage for my dog. read more

The Vets' services are OK but the support staff are PATHETIC. They truly don't care about their customers' needs. I live in the apartments next door to this clinic for a few years now so it is convenient. The big problem I find at this clinic is their extremely high staff turnover. During the years I have been taking my dogs here , I never get to see any of the employees at the front desk ever again. When I ask 'Where is so and so ?' , the answer is always the same : 'S/he no longer work here'. They truly have a high turnover here and that is a reflection on how this business is run. Most times the young staff are dedicated to doing their thing like looking at their mobile phones or applying nail polish instead of helping customers. One time, I came in to request a chart of vaccines for my dog and the two girls upfront - while doing the two things mentioned above - were throwing the ball at each other. 'You do it' ! No, you do it ! It wasn't until I asked to talk to Dr Quintero that one of them grudgingly took care of my request. Their grooming service is OK with Adriana taking care of my dogs. read more

I am so disappointed with this clinic. Not only did I waste a fortune but my poor dog suffered in the process. I got a call this week on Tuesday from the secretary saying that it was time for my dogs "6 month vaccines". I was surprised as I have NEVER heard of animals needing shots 2 times a year. She reassured me that certain ones were necessary twice a year. I was hesitant but agreed anyway because my dog needed a haircut and teeth cleaning. She told me I could take the dog tomorrow, Wednesday, and do it all. So I took my dog and cat yesterday, Wednesday, 9/21/2016 for their grooming appointments. When I arrive I was told by a different person from the one on the phone that the groomer does not work on Wednesday. She left the room, came back, and said they would do it anyway. I was weary that it wouldn't be done by the groomer but I thought it wouldn't be so hard to cut the hair of a dog and cat while sedated.... I have done it while they were awake. I hand them to the girl but not before I'm told I have to pay in full up front. They recommended the pet insurance for both animals. Then I was given a bill of $785! And that was "with a discount"! It was supposed to be about $1572!! You can go to the humane society and get vaccines for less than $100. I don't know what I was charged $785 for. Money down the drain. They took advantage. Dog: Cat: - grooming. -shots - teeth cleaning with sedation. -grooming with sedation - 6 month shots (who has heard of this??) This isn't even the worse part. I would do anything for my pets, they are like children. The lady explained the total included cost of blood work, disposal fee, etc. So i sucked it up and went through with it. HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART: What made me so upset that I decided to write this post was looking at my dog once we got home. I went to pet him and he turned on his back and that's when I saw his skin all BURNED and CUT UP from the razor! I can only imagine the trauma he went through for him to have gotten cut and for the technician to have kept going and continuing to cut each time. He has cuts all over his belly, a really bad one behind his ear, several under his legs... I want to cry thinking about what he went through! He won't let me touch the cuts and cries if I try. I can not believe they cut his hair with out a licensed groomer. It was probably some new kid who had no idea what he/she was doing! I too am to blame for letting them! I trusted them with my babies. I feel robbed and like my animals were NOT taken care of properly. It is not okay to do this to people and animals. We work too hard for such outrageous prices. Ok so the only reason that I'm not giving this place 1 star is because the girl at the front desk was SOOO nice. I brought in my 60 lbs. German Shepard because he swallowed one of my brothers anti-psychotic medicines by mistake. I came in and the front desk girl was really sweet. Even my dog responded really nice to her. She took his weight and his temperature and left to go get the main doctor. So far so good. As soon as the doctor walks in my dog started barking at her (normal for any dog to do to a stranger) and the doctor jumps. Then she makes us put a muzzle on our dog as she tries to give him a physical. The dog kept barking and she got scared and said that she would have to sedate him. (MY DOG HAS NEVER SHOWN ANY SIGNS OF AGGRESSION). She then racks up an estimate of $500 just to make my dog vomit and keep him overnight. No way. Not to mention my dog was so scared of her that he hid behind my girlfriend's legs. She was very rude when we declined her "recommendation" so we simply paid the money, thanked the front desk girl for her help and being so nice and left. I wouldn't EVER trust my dog here. It seems like they care more about just getting their money then how your dog actually feels. And BTW... My dog ended up fine... So that would've been $500 down the drain for nothing. On April 30 our family suffered a tragedy when we had to put our 21 year old little girl, Buttercup, to rest. That is not a typo, she was 21 human years old! She was a very happy pup to the end but her little body had started to give out and the bleeding could not be stopped. My Aunt and Mother, both seniors themselves, had the heartbreaking task of taking Buttercup to this wonderful facility on their own, as I live out of state. From the minute they walked in the door they were treated with a solemn caring that can only come from true animal lovers. They did their very best to console my aunt and treated Buttercup with loving kindness and whispered tones. When the time came, and only after making sure my Aunt was ready, they gently took Buttercup away and my aunt, in desperate tears, left in my mother's arms. My aunt is the most fierce animal lover I've ever known. But after such a terrible loss all she could talk about was how kind, caring, loving and genuinely sad for her the staff at this facility was. I'm certain, regardless of the distance, this is now the veterinary clinic my family will use until we no longer live in Florida. I would highly recommend this clinic because this type of unclinical loving kindness is not something that can be taught. It cannot be faked. These are the kind of people you want taking care of your pets in good and unfortunately sometimes bad times. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Buttercup gave us so much for over two decades. The end of her life should have been one filled with loving hugs and respect and that is exactly what she got. read more

Where's the - 10 Star? Even with a free check up that I had from the seller of my puppy, I refused to go. 2 phone calls and I decided they'll never have my business. Paola answered the call both times...Unfortunately. She was so lost. At first I was speaking English but when I realized she would just repeat 'mhmm' for all my questions I knew I had to change to Spanish. I asked to speak to a Manager and she said she wouldn't be in the office til the next day in the afternoon, really? Sure I told her in these words, in Spanish "Listen, not to offend you but I need to speak to someone that can answer my questions and you don't seem to have those answers, I don't want to drive from Kendall to Hialeah to find out I didn't bring in the correct paperwork" she placed me on hold and another Spanish lady answers. I immediately ask her name for reference and she told me that her name didn't matter and to ask her what I needed to know. Talk about rude. I work in customer service myself and this is a no no. In the end she was wrong, the seller had to call and her correct them but of course I had found another vet because there was no way I was going to have my dog treated there. Free doesn't cut it for this place. It's a disappointment how Hialeah continues with the correct reputation. Not classy. read more

The WORST vet I've ever been to in my life! BEWARE I took a family through a rescue. The receptionist is RUDE and uneducated. They don't like to take the time to explain things to you. They are disorganized. They don't call you you have to call them. Their phone lines were down for a few days and don't even bother to call you to keep you informed after a cat had a surgery. No update on progress or when to pick up. We had to drive there to get answers and guess what the cat wasn't ready to go home. They did a terrible spay that one cat got a hernia and needs to be spayed once again. Microchip information were attached to the wrong files. I took cats to a new vet we had to scan all the cats microchips and come to find out some were labeled wrong. The vet took the time out to argue with me when I told him to focus on providing better quality service. The service they provide is garbage and I just kept learning more after the fact how much they SUCK. Not to mention they don't speak English when we live in the USA. read more
