I pay what I feel is a lot of $$ for AAA. When I was broke down in I-75 in Forsyth GA I called AAA and they said it would be 1 hour for a tow truck. An hour later AAA called back and said no tow truck was available that day and they could pick me up at 8:30 the next morning, not offering any overnight arrangements as I was far from home and the AAA rep knew that. I even sarcastically said I have a tent in the car and would sleep in the woods next to the interstate. The AAA rep said I could could find a local service and AAA would reimburse the cost. I said for as much as I paid AAA they could find a local towing service to which the rep declined saying I would have to. I called South Express Towing in Forsyth and he stated he would come get me, in fact knew exactly where I was when he passed me on another service call. The driver (sorry, forgot his name) was super polite and arrived in under an hour. He made the 2+ hour trip to take my car back to a shop near my home and allowed me to ride in the truck with him (many towing services will not allow passengers). We carried on conversations like we were old friends, super polite guy. While I hope I never am broke down again, if I do, I hope it is near South Express Towing. I would give 6 stars if I could.
